So, just because I want to mess around with my friends, or talk in chat means I'm playing the game wrong? it makes no sense to me.
Honestly, Skyblock is changing. It may be for better or for worse, but what you said about the "nu pls bae" and "/tap" is true. However, I disagree when you said the part about it now being about talking in chat. It was about talking in chat back then. There are more greedy people nowadays than there used to be. It's just that the people here have changed, the way people talk to and treat each other have changed, and it's just different. Those who were here before are uncomfortable for their own reasons, but change is inevitable.
I come on here as much as I can, but I have a life. I have school, chores, I see my family, etc. I don't spend all of my time here. Anyways, how do you get an active member! I come on about 1 hour per day or more (some days I'm not on)! I've been here for 7 months and I know the mods and players that don't come on anymore that I miss.
I can't really connect to Net much considering I only joined 6 months ago, but as a player of org since just after the second reset on org (Das a long time), I can say I've seen the exact same thing happening on org and it frustrates me. When I first joined Org it was chaotic to me everyone advertising their shops in chat, lots of legit conversations going on and just a very excited environment where almost everyone would coexist and actually communicate ideas, other than "bae" and "takign lik dis". Trading was happening and everything was pretty much awesome. Then the 3rd reset happened and I was so enraged that I lost my island that I quit for about 3 full months. When I came back almost everything changed, the chat was slow, people weren't having as many in depth conversations and there were significantly less players. I was considering just leaving the server right then but I got donor from voting about 3 days into me coming back, encouraging me to stay, so I had progressively watched as there was almost no conversation at all within the chat, after about a few months of that It has started to come back to that phase when I first joined back where everyone is talking again but now the conversations are meaningless. I really see eye to eye with you on this Bacon, but I saw it happen on org is the only difference It's frustrating but you get used to it and learn to roll with the punches so you can keep playing on the server you love.
Skyblock.org is fine. Moderators are there all the time. Yet when I hop onto .net, I rarely see a mod, and maybe 1 or 2 new tmods.
I've been playing for more than 2 years, and yes, skyblock has changed. Whether for better of for worse, that's your opinion. Yes, we've lost some friends, but also gain more friends that we never forget, and I personally think the current staff are doing a fantastic job, keep up the good work
Clearly you don't understand what you just said or are acting innocent so watevs. Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by staff members**
I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone in this post. I joined skyblock 1 1/2 years ago, and yes, a lot has changed. I remember being obsessed with how much money I had, how many rares and trying to predict what was going to happen to the economy over time. I also used to follow all trends, posting on all th threads where I had something to say, even though it wasn't neccesary, made any sence or brought forward any deep thoughts. I remember being increadably greedy, not wanting to accept any deals, unless I could earn money on it. But now, 1 1/2 years later, all the stuff that was important, don't matter anymore. Maybe that is because I have to focus on other things when on the server, but I think the main reason is that I've become more mature. A lot has happened for me the last year, and I think that it has changed how I look at things. Way to many people are too greedy. The skyblock community is devided into ranks (donators, non-donors), which affects the way people are treated. Way to many people put rares above people. Way to many people care way to much about how much money they have. I don't think things are changing that much. Yes they are changing, but many things are still as they used to be. What I think is changing, however, is how people look at the situation. To be honest, most players are kids and most of the things said here on the forum and in-game aren't very intellectual. As people grow up, they will reallize this, and that's why I believe they think things are changing. Things aren't changing that much, it's how people look at it that will change. Once again, sorry if I offended anyone with this.
I'm new to this server so please excuse me if this is an intrusion, but I wanted to comment in regards to HenChris. It's true that often it's our perceptions that change more than the game itself. I've moved away from many games as my friends have, life happens and gaming time reduces. Half my gaming friends have a couple of kids now, I reckon I'd have more luck enticing their kids into a game for some fun then I do my friends who were once avid gamers. Rarely do things change as much as we do as we get older. When the world really is changing faster than you, you'll know it.
You sound like a 2nd grader who just heard a pep talk and is trying to repeat it to his parents 2 days later. Why did they remove the dumb rating? He's not asking for it to go back to the way it was, he's merely expressing his nostalgia for the good ol'days You're 11 years old... unless you've experience lagre amouts of pain and suffering, or gain extreme wisdom from some unknown source, you know nothing about life. Not everything changes. He's not saying restrict chat. This is clearly not a suggestion. He just wants to bring up the fact that he misses the was skyblock used to be back when he used to have fun on the server. Now he is just pointing out what has changed and why he doesnt like it. He isnt saying "The server sucks I quit" he is saying that he misses how it was,and has obviously not quit due to him still being here. He didnt say he was planning on leaving because of this, he said that he misses the old way of things. Plus, he has probably tried that crap before. Yes, That iz exactly what this thread is made to do. It clearly states that all talking in chat is severely hated and is not allowed. If you talk in chat you are playing the game wrong, Duh... NO, of freaking course not, Read above statements. K Ok, I think thats it...
i think thesame as bacon EXCEPT MY THREAD WAS TAKEN DOWN by one of the new t-mods who does not consider anything about real rife and responsiblitys but yes i highly agree with bacon
