Hi I'm xXhardytyXx a $50 donor on .net and I think we should get staff to be on 24/7 because 2/4 of the time staff is not on in the morning here and sometimes night here. People need you guys, it doesn't mean all of you, but maybe a few people.

Well different people have different timezones so some people can be on one time and the other another time

It would be cool to have mods on 24/7 but that would be nearly impossible. Cyp would have to promote people based on their time zone.

 

Wanna know my schedule? Work for about 15 hours each week, golf 4 hours a week, and swim for about 15 hours a week, voulenteer about 5 hours a week, and have school for 35 hours a week, plus another 20 or so hours for homework. My schedule changes frequently. No way this will ever happen. Try making a schedule with 65 other people

 

No support. I am 15 and I work 35 hours a week during the summer and 15-18 during the school year. People have real life issues that need to be completed. Nobody can be on 24 hours a day. We are volunteers, we are giving our time here.

 

I think he means more mods from all the different timezones.

 

Yeah but still it would be very difficult.
Our schedule changes, new extra curricular activities are taken up, changes in amount of homework, changes in times at work, accidents happen. No one has the same schedule all the time. Even if we did, it's very hard to keep up with these schedules. Sometimes PCs and laptops break, sometimes wi-fi fails us badly and sometimes mods cannot find the time to do their job.
I doubt any mods keep moderating as a priority. If they did then I would be very worried. They all have work, school and other things in their lives.
It would be impossible for mods to have a certain time to moderate. They can moderate when they can and I am really happy with what the current situation is like right now.

One day when there is enough mods with different time zones..

 

Atm I'm on vay-cay but I'm on at night and mostly the day (Ps. I sleep in the morning most 6 am to 3pm) The mods try to be on when they can most have lives to live but I would have to say No support

 

We aren't robots. We have jobs, school, college, and a life. Yes maybe there's a gap of time when a mod isn't on, but when Cyp feels we need more mods he will promote some.

 

You really shouldn't do that. I'm not judging you, but from a medical perspective, that's very unhealthy.

Basically all that ^^ A single moderator cannot be on 24/7. That's psychically impossible. I do think there should at least be one mod on at most times of the day.. but you never now with their schedule.

I think people are taking this out of context. He does not mean mods stay on 24/7, he means that because, and I have noticed this as well, that when people need mods, they are offline. The basis of this suggestion is for a mod to be on all the time. For example, Krissy is on for 2 hours, then when she is off, another mod is on, so 24/7, mods are online so they can be helped, whether for a grief, bridge, unlock a chest, looting, spam, advertisements or just questions.

I would support this to a tee, but it will be hard to make a timetable for each mod to follow so a mod is on at all times. These mods are people, and as such, they all (hopefully ) have lives. Let them live them, and then let them be with their skyblock friends.
