I have seen multiple other people share their skyblock stories and I thought it was time for mine. I have never told the full and complete truth about my time on skyblock. My time on skyblock has changed me forever. It kept me going these last few months, while I had difficulties IRL. I found skyblock.net in mid-February, and made a normal newb island. I don’t remember a lot from my first island on .net. I had a small chicken farm, a pumpkin farm, and a few snowmen wandering around. I felt so rich when I got my fourth grass block xD. I later made a small wood farm and was scammed out of a half stack of logs by another player. After about 2 weeks on this island I was starting to acquire more and more supplies and I decided I wanted to start helping others. I saw someone asking in chat if anyone wanted to join a coop. I said I would like for a bit on this person’s island. At this time I didn’t really know what a coop was. I deeply regret this mistake, and I still miss that island. I accepted the invite, my island disappeared and I was teleported to a brand new island. I saw that all my materials had disappeared and I tried to /home to get my stuff. I was shocked when I couldn’t go back to my island. At this time I realized that I had lost my island. I was heartbroken. I started to destroy this noob’s island. I was so angry for what had happened as a result of this coop. I ragequit skyblock, and left for about 2 weeks. I decided to come back about 2 weeks later on spring break. After several days of growing trees and making a wood shop I decided to sell a DC of oak logs for a set of iron armor. This was back when 2 grass was equal to 1 iron. I went to the old skybase, and put the wood in the chest. Then the other player logged out. I didn’t know I could report this to a mod at the time, and the person was never caught. I just freaked out. I decided to quit when I saw skygod Rachel, or malachich was dropping 3 diamonds at spawn. I decided to try, even though there were 500 people on at the time. I was at the DP and saw a diamond appear in my inventory, and then another. I was just amazed. I thanked her over and over again, and I must thank Rachel again. If she had dropped those 3 diamonds even 1 minute later, I wouldn’t be in this community today. Thanks so much malachich, I owe everything to you . Those 2 diamonds changed my time on skyblock. I made several friends, and began to have more fun with skyblock. My 2 greatest friends were two hundred donors. One was name BUTTERKING500, and the other was a girl with the name of spark. Butterking500 or Lucas joined my coop and we were great fans until he was banned for griefing. After he was unbanned he left my coop and went on to make his own island. He was later banned for a multitude of things, and will never be unbanned, for the damage he caused to skyblock. Spark and I were great friends until she disappeared one day. She has still not returned to this day. This is when I began to grief. I apologize for what I did; except I cannot fix it I no longer have the coordinates to my island. I spent about another 2 months on my island expanding and building. After many hours I finally achieved my goal of getting full diamond armor as a non-donor. Shortly after this I decided to restart my island, as I thought It would be nice to have a fresh start. This was around Easter, and the bunny head DP. This is how I found Hellblock. I went to the DP on Hellblock, and I managed to get a head, but I later died with it in lava. I decided to go on Hellblock later that day, and fight some people in pvp. I used to strength 2 potions, and I managed to take out most of the donors that were there that day. They were horribly mean and rude to me, and I still remember it clearly to this day. I logged on to Hellblock later that day, and people were still accusing me of hacking in pvp. I talked to NarcissaMalfoy27 about it, and she said to the other that unless they had video evidence, I would not be punished. A player started asking if anyone knew any good screen recorders in chat. I gave a suggestion, and it looked a little bit like an ip address to a server. I was banned for advertising, but I was unbanned within the hour. I found myself enjoying Hellblock far more than .net. I made my decision one to day to fully switch to Hellblock. I sold princessnerd3 most of my items, and just gave her the rest. I made friends with all of the people on Hellblock, and then I decided to apply for moderator there. My app definitely didn’t receive the most attention, but it was fairly short and to the point. On July 22 at approximately noon Central Time, KatoKillsMyGPA replied to my application. I was sitting in Panda Express and the time, and I literally fell out of my chair in shock. I spilled orange chicken all over myself but it was worth it I was jumping for joy My dream came true and it will for all of us someday. You just have to keep trying, because hope never dies. I cannot thank this community enough for all you guys have given to me. I you all, and I hope you enjoyed my skyblock story. P.S.
I read this a while ago but didn't have enough time to post. That was a really nice story and it looks like malachite saved you from quitting. That diamond must have allowed you to carry on to become a trial moderator! Congrats.
