You can find little platforms of biomes that aren't owned? I never knew that… Is that how you find what biome your island is in?????:confused:

 

If you turn on F3, it shows your biome even if you aren't above land in skyblock. So there could be a chunk with a mesa biome and no islands.

 

My friends old island (the start of this year) was a jungle

 

I Found Tagia, Ocean, Desert, and Swampland... (Is plains biome rare?)

 

Do biomes effect your island? I'm in an ocean biome btw
(I don't know much about biomes)

 

Not in a major way. Some biomes allow you to get ice, or prevent you from farming snow, or let you get some flowers better. Nothing really major that can't be fixed with a little trade.

There's an island about 850 blocks away from mine... And it's a Mushroom biome. Unfortunately, it seems to be inactive, and the owner probably doesn't realize that their island is so rare.

 

It turns out I'm an ocean biome
