7.) Were you banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I was banned for 2 hours before. It didn't say why. I was AFK for about 2 hours and I try to log in and it said Banned for 1 Hour 57 min

8.) Why do you think you should be unbanned? Why do I think I should be un banned? I shouldn't be. Duplicating items is probably one of the more seriously ones. I honestly didn't know power rail generators were bad. I was playing skyblock and my little brother came to me and said would you like me to build you a power rail generator? So I let him. I didn't think it was bad because they have cobblestone generators and obsidian generators. Duplicating didn't come to mind. I'm kind of confused too because Mojang made power rail generators and why can't we have them on skyblock I don't know? I apologize for what I did though. I take full responsibility for my actions.

Hi there, TortoiseSpeed, it looks like you have been banned for a very high offense which is duplicating, or rail duplicating. The following evidence shown below shows you having the 'machine' at your island and you having responsibility towards it as you created it and used it as well.




Because this rule isn't really stated in the rules, you should still understand that duplicating is not allowed as it comes from a bug and could be abused by having a slight advantage in in-game profit if sold to anyone or obtaining a mass amount of that item illegally. Before we get onto your appeal, I would like to ask you something really quick. What did you or was going to do with the rails that your duplicated? Did you have any intention of selling them? Please be truthful.

 

First off, I do not deny any of your evidence. To be honest while I was duplicating the power rails I was going to make a roller coaster or something of the sorts, but as a realized the duplication was pretty much limit less I could sell them for a profit as well. Which I did try and sell them a few times. I will say though honestly I didn't know I was breaking a rule. And to back up that point. Why would I pay $50 (I am a Donor 50) just to know that I was breaking a rule. And you might not believe me but I promise I am telling the truth. And I'm not saying I should be unbanned because I donated money. I'm saying due to the fact that I did donate money it kinda shows that I'm dedicated? I guess dedicated is the word

 

Please do not mention server donations in your ban appeal, it could sometimes be taken as bribery. Anyways, duplicating items can seriously damaged the server as it's considered as cheating and gaining advantage over players. Have you sold any rails that were duplicated to anybody successfully?

 

No I didn't sell any of them. All the rails are located in my chest Titled "Redstone" or they were in my inventory when I was banned.

 

I have confiscated the powered rails and the regular rails from the following chest. Why do you think I should unban you from the server and if you were to be unbanned, how will you show that you won't perform this action ever again?

 

That's a hard question for me to answer. Duplicating the rails was a very bad decision on my part and I can almost guarantee you that I learn from my mistakes. I promise I won't do it ever again. How I will show you that I won't do it ever again is I could just stay away of rails completely and I could think before I do something.

 

I have decided to change your permanent ban to a temporary one. Because of that, you will be unbanned on August 14.

Please keep in mind if the same offense is repeated again and if you are banned for the same or different offense, there will be higher consequences. I will check on you once in a while to check on your activity due to your recent duplication incident.
