So someone told me my island is on a rare biome. This is my first time hearing about this so I was a little lost. Well what I did not get was how they figured it out. THey told me to push F3 but my iMac does this weird thing not even having to do with the mine craft game. Anyone else know what other commands I can push in order to do this? I have already tried Fn+F3 and nothing….

I think I helped you with this in game, if you don't remember, just hold down the 'fn' key which is at the bottom left of the keyboard, and whilst holding it down, press the 'f3' key and then release the 'fn' key.

Try shift+f3. For my laptop, although not a Mac, it requires hitting that combo to bring it up. Could be the same for you.

That is a different combo. For most keyboards shift and FN do different commands. If FN didn't work, it doesn't hurt to try shift.

This is one of those cases where google is one of the best inventions. Try fn + f3 - that's how you do it on my laptop
