Maximizing your island space (It's bigger than you thought!)

    I get a lot of questions along the lines of "how big can I make my island?"
    It's kind of hard to explain in text with /r in game, so I decided to make this simple guide in MSPaint that explains where your island is in the infinite void, what belongs to you, and where you are allowed to build! I hope it's helpful for those of you with big islands and want MORE :D.

    ^^^^^^but really it's best you don't leave the safe space, both as a courtesy to your neighbor and for your own safety

    So 49 blocks out from bedrock each way ends up making a 99x99 square, but it says here we get a 100x100 space? Confusing.

    this is not entirely true. 49 * 2 = 98 + 1 (bedrock) = 99 spaces. u have a 2 block gap between 2 maxed out islands.

    mm then we can add 1 block to each side for the width then.

    49 in each direction gets reset
    51 is safe to build in. I'll edit it now XD

    Org dimensions don't really matter, since WorldGuard will stop you from building at its limits ;) but it is the same; 49 blocks from the bedrock (99x99).

    My render distance is on 32 chunks and I still can't see the edge lol

    Yeah... I used to have a slime spawn room, but didnt notice its in the radius of another island. The other island restarted and BOOM! I lost 2 slime spawners xD

    Oh nearly forgot to ask this. In the "unclaimed space" can people still get in trouble for destroying stuff that has been built there? I don't want to extend my island based on this only to find out that it can be griefed without punishment.
