As the title may be confusing let me explain. There were two lag spikes that i know of that happened today, one in the morning one around now. In the first one all my Farm animals got erased, nothing too serious. Just before the 2nd one I bought some more cows and pigs, then replaced the chickens with some leftover eggs....then it happened. As I was helping a customer, I couldn't open any of my chests. I saw in the chat and there was a lot of spam "lag lag" they said. I didn't understand at first when I went to check on my animals I Couldn't the part of my island with my animals was something of the past. Many important things on my island were erased such as My only Mob Spawner, 3 sand (an item that can't be traded legally), the land i had placed there, and of course my animals ( this time also erasing my and co-op's wolves). I am not asking for these items back as I know many people have also lost their Items but if you could help and prevent this in the future it would mean a lot to me.


***Note: You may ask for the co-ords, but sadly I cannot give them. After the 2nd lag spike i could no longer rejoin skyblock. Thank you to anyone that helps or even listens.

 

Um. I'm having trouble understanding what happened. Is part of your island cut off? Just gone? And what does it say when you try to get back on?

 

Because island will get cut off if they were past their boundaries and somebody does /newisland replace. Was your island relatively large? Possibly beyond the boundaries?

 

It was gone just as the lag spike hit but now I can join and it is back to normal. Sorry if i bothered you but when i was creating the thread I could not join.

Although I still cannot open my own chests I think that may be resolved in the near future.

Yes, it seems that net went down earlier.

What likely happened is that when the lag got bad, the chunk didn't load. So your island was still there in the database, but not physically there in game.

Glad nothing was wrong, and that everything is back now. Since you seem to be okay with it, and this seems resolved, I'm going to lock & archive it now.
