I previously posted a thread about this. But a .org moderator said I would be banned for using /ping? I have no idea what that is. After I voted I did receive my iron, but not my sand. If you look towards the top of chat you can see it says I received 5 sand. Please help me. Thanks.

 

It looks like a glitch to me. You'll notice that is says you are supposed to receive iron, but never says you received the iron, instead it says you received sand.

I don't think you were ever supposed to get sand, it just posted the wrong message. It should have said "You just received 3 iron ingots!"

Since you did get your iron, then there doesn't seem to an issue. I don't think you'll be getting the sand as well. Sorry.

They thought you were trying to scam the refund system using the /ping command. The /ping command can be used to type things that look like messages into chat, but they will only be seen by you.

 

Never knew that. I'm on .net does that make a difference?

 

Likely not. I can leave this open and see if anyone else thinks differently, but I believe it was just a glitched message and that you were never meant to get the sand. Sorry.

It looks like a glitch, sand trading is illegal on net so I don't believe a reward would be sand. Only donors get sand through donor kits and I have never seen someone get sand from voting.
