if u un ban me i swear i wont do anything bad or unfollowing the rules if u just please un ban me!!!

I did this towards the beginning of when i started playing this server because i watched a video that said if u build 500 blocks out u find a big island of resources, so i tried it but it doesnt work on this server( found out after first 64 blocks). I feel bad about this now because after i did it, i went and read the rules and found out it was not allowed. I think I should be unbanned because I wont ever try and do this again because now i know the rules. I also really like playing this server a lot, and I wont go griefing or bridging again. That is why I think I should be unbanned.

Number 6 is a bit shaky. Helping people with their problems has nothing to do with you bridging, you could solve all the problems in the world and still, at the end of the day, be bridging and griefing.

If you care so much about getting back to your island, it shows that you just want to be unbanned to play again (and maybe start bridging again), and you don't have any remorse whatsoever about your actions

I presume that Crusaderboy was the mod who banned you. If that is the case you will need to work out the problem with him. If you do not address Crusaderboy's question within the next 3 days, then your appeal will be automatically denied and archived for neglect.

 

I did I'm waiting on him to unban, me I already did what he told me to do. "Give me your full opinion on why you did this, and how do you think about it now, and why you should be unbanned in this case."

Hi, This is nw_zw's dad. I am writing to ask that you consider unbanning his account. I do not know what he did exactly, but I can tell you he is earnestly apologetic about it. He very much enjoys your game/server, and I can tell it's hurt his pride that someone has banned him from something he enjoys. It's my fault if he did not reply to the messages above as he was not allowed to play on our computer until he finished a school project. I feel bad that my rules prevented him from having the opportunity to represent himself.

I would appreciate if you would consider giving him another chance. I am certain he will stay within the guidelines.

If nothing else, I hope you would consider that I paid you guys $50 for account upgrades for him.

 

The kid seems sincere in his apologies. I recommend an extended tempban (until Feb 2) and a FULL rollback.

That is, unless there is proof that his "bridging and greifing" were to an extreme nature.

Hi, I'm Xelnagahunter, one of the moderators who deal with users on the server. I was not the moderator who banned your son from playing so I don't have all of the details. I understand that a lot of parents do not understand most of the lingo involved in many of the game the younger generation plays, I'm getting old enough that it sometimes passes me by and I play the games. Bridging on a skyblock server means that a bridge made of any block type was built to allow someone to travel from one island to another. This is illegal because it allows you to steal items and "grief" the other user. Griefing is defined as sabatoging another users structures and hard work, for the purpose of Minecraft Server playing.

You can now see how these issues are a problem for the server and the reason why those two rules are so strongly enforced. We have a program that allows us to see who did what to a block, so we can prove if your son was the person involved in these situations. Also, the "payment" made to upgrade the account was not a payment at all. We accept donations and offer perks and rewards in response that gives the player an edge when playing the game. HOWEVER; we do value and respect the users who have taken the time to give us a donation and we deeply thank you for your willingness to support our server and your son's fun.

Now, on to the important matter at hand...

I am NOT in control of the appeal and will not unban him without Crusaderboy1's consent, however; I do suggest an unban with a condition. The server has a set of rules, those can be found by clicking here. Please read them and ensure that your son understands them.

This does not guarantee that your son will be unbanned, this is my suggestion. Even if your son does get unbanned he may or may not have a period of time where he is not allowed on the server, consider it like a "grounding" to allow the deepness of the situation to settle in.

I already saw his items and I emptied out his chests that looked suspicious. A roll back is not necessary and even if the bridging is extreme, the looted items were not much. I do agree on the extended tempban till the 2nd of February.

So that I know, was he told the details of exactly what the offense was so that he does not repeat it? Or was a generalized 'you griefed, you're banned' type response? I just want to make sure he knows, so the behavior is not repeated.

It's usually a "you griefed, you're banned", some details are given onto the ban message like if he "bridged to another island" or "griefed (insert owner's name)'s island," but that's pretty much it. Some mods do understand that some people playing Minecraft wouldn't exactly know what griefing is. What your son could've done is that he could post up an Amnesty. An amnesty is used to have a player in skyblock.net to show their honesty by coming clean, telling the truth, and all the details from breaking the rules, then he would've been more forgiven. But now since he has a record of "griefing," it's very likely if he's caught a second time, he will not be forgiven. I am not sure if this answers your question, but I did my best.
