I bought an Asus G750JX. Love it and windows 8 is fine once you get used to it.

 

I've been playing minecraft on my windows 8 PC for ages now, and never once had this problem.

 

the thing is when I buy a pc I use it for games I don't care if it has a calculator. I got it to play a game

 

This used to happened to me. But I got myself a new S.T.R.I.K.E 7 keyboard and it started to work fine

 

there is to much features to windows 8 I prefer anything lower than windows 8

 

Honestly windows 8 inst too bad, yes alot of people to prefer windows 7 but windows 8 does have some good features.

But honestly I've been using it for nearly 1/2 a year and I've had no problems :3

 

Haven't had any problems with it.

 

really maybe I chose the one pc that really sucks?

 

Why dont you try a new keyboard like suggested instead of making a huge rant over it

Windows is the operating system its not the processor that makes your computer run or your graphics card.. Most likely you have a bad computer (Sorry to say) that has a hard time running minecraft.. due to the graphics and usage and if you want to fix this problem I would suggest getting optifine and turning your settings on low and your computer performance to high.. to turn performance high go to the taskbar and clicking the little battery and it should say "Power opinions" click that and click high performance and then done.. Minecraft should not lag anymore..

 

Well, hold on. Does your 'typing' lag on ALL programs or just minecraft. If all, then it's your keyboard!

If just minecraft, then as Gracie said, it is unfortunately your computer.

As said above, the operating system shouldn't affect the performance, if it does then you're specs can't handle it. There may be a delay in the keyboard input but that could be easily resolved. If its Minecraft performance then unfortunately your specs are not too great and you need a better pc / downgrade some of minecrafts settings. Don't blame the operating system for the performance of the gameplay, blame the PC company/the specs that the certain PC has.
