Why do green beans buy donor, get banned. And then use the excuse of buying donor? I don't understand. I have played on this server since September 2012 and I got donor a bit less than 3 Weeks Ago :/
Three answers; 1.) society 2.) entitlement 3.) preconception To elaborate, 1.) We live in a world based on a monitory power system. The more money you have, ultimately the more power you are in control of, and the less the rules apply to you. Take a look in any direction when it comes to the legal system and tell me you don't see the same issues prevalent in reality. 2.) Donations are in place for the purpose of keeping a non-profit service functioning. With that being said, many a monitory exchange happens without that being even a glimmer in reason. When certain individuals spend any volume of coin on something, they have a tendency to automatically assume an ownership or entitlement to the object or service involved. Listing yourself as a donor when appealing is like saying you have a VIP card at a club or waving a Veteran's card at an officer when being pulled over. It's an attempt to get out of jail. 3.) Preconception, stating a lengthly history on a server before acquiring any type of boosted stature seems to indicate that the particular individual would prefer to determine for themselves whether or not the donation / purchase is worth it. This is not necessarily the same mind set as the next person to play. There are those who will spend on a whim to gain any advantage they can to catch up, overtake, or just exploit and flaunt in front of others. In a TLR version; Kids be spoiled, and love to whine about it.
In shortest terms, one reason is people use cunningness and trickery thinking that we are stupid people who play video games. We are not though.

They are. The OP was asking a basic question, there really isn't any merit into diving into the human psyche just to answer a simple question.

.-. Not all Greenbeans get donor and grief.. I was a non-donor everyone was a non-donor >_> I am the leader of the greenbean army and yes we do have some strays but if they get unbanned they are lovely and respectful members until some get donor and break them all again :/
My understanding probably less sociology since im going to study it next year... People who donate usually start at 10 donor. They want to be trusted and known and having a donor prefix just sets them apart. However some have not read the rules and are still new, others just read it and dont care and of course we have the players who did read the rules and are good law abiding citizens. So some of these donors end up breaking the rules and getting banned. Some just want to cause trouble and the trust they gain from being a donor allows them to cause trouble, easier. Then they either feel guilty because they spend money on the server and got banned, genuinely sorry, or they think that donor is a free ticket out of a ban. Of course you can see the more they donate, the more they start trying to bribe. This of course is not true to every new donor, but you can see that the issue is peoples trust in donors and the fact donors are looked up to, and the people who cant seem to read and follow the rules.
krissy, they also spread a bad influence through to the greenbeans, who will now think that its okay as well.
