When a 100 donor+ joins ma, they have to turn off /god first, which just got someone banned (given they refused to leave after being warned) but i believe something like that shouldn't happen. i put this thread in suggestion because i have a suggestion that /god should be taken off automatically, so that we don't have to quit if we accidentally leave it on. Just an important thing that needs to be changed, i hope you look into it noob and cyp!

Also you can fly from stafflist into the mob arena and kill mobs. They need to fix that...

Wait. If you fly from stafflist, you can kill mobs? I thought you were entirely disconnected from the activity if you fly over. I know the mobs don't attack you, but I've never tried to attack them...

However, I agree with krissy that the ledge glitching is a real issue, I've reported and seen reports for tons of people who glitched or hacked up there and let the arena drag on and on cheating.

They disabled /fly when you join why don't they just disable /god when you get in as well. They should also add the roof again to stop people from using creepers and the bosses throw nearby to get out. People use this exploit to gets diamonds because I think at round 100 you get a diamond or something but I don't know because I haven't got to 100

 

+1 all day. Although dozens of people tried explaining to that dude(tte) how to exit the arena before action was taken, it's still a shame it had to end in a ban.

But... MobArena literally doesn't have an option to disable Essentials' /god automatically, even though it integrates with several other plugins. Furthermore, the Essentials API does not support control over /god.

Things that could work (in order of headache):

• Use WorldGuard's /god in favor of Essentials', and put the arena in a region with the god-mode flag explicitly set to false. Only people with worldguard.god.override-regions will be able to continue using /god there.
• Scrap essentials.god perms and drop in MobArenaGod, which is a god-mode plugin that hooks to the MobArena API.
• Hack up a command alias that runs `/god (player) off` when someone tries to join the arena.
• Contribute to the Essentials API, since they've been struggling to find the time/manpower for that for *years.*

/fly uses code built in to Bukkit, so it's easy enough for any plugin to check if a user is flying. /god is a feature added to Bukkit by plugins like Essentials and WorldGuard, so it's up to those plugins to provide an interface for other plugins to check/toggle it.

The prizes aren't that good but if you go to really high rounds I think you could get around 10 gold grass and iron for doing nothing so just 10 games and you've got over a stack of grass.

 

You can't kill mobs if you fly in, but the slimes can still damage you. I've done it a few times to see people fighting it out.

 

Agreed, if stair can be turned sideways, that would fix the issue, or if all else fails, lava walls

Well the developer team is a lazy piece of crap. I don't even see that are doing anything useful

 

If they remove the ledge there will be random floating glass panes so make the panes into full blocks so there's no floating blocks and no ledge to deal with or just push the panes back before the ledge

 

I support I have known good friends of mine who by mistake left it on ;-; and got banned..

 

I almost got banned for it once back then and i thought that the game was glitching, the first time, you honestly have no clue, if anything, its should be stated at the front of the website that it should be turned off, i wouldnt be surprised if this was one of the largest banning areas that was from people who had no clue they did anything wrong
