Net in September 2012: I remember having a horrible island and always going to /warp mob. Also remember my first trade, 64 arrows for 64 melons

Org in January/February 2013: Making /warp larrythebird101 and thinking someone could grief outside of my shop and when I was a 25 donor I broke my spawner thinking I could pick it up ._.

 

My oldest .Org: Back when it was just hardcore, myself and some other guy had a punching fight at spawn with Noobcrew

My oldest .Net: I got scammed in a trade and I lost an ice block, so I went a kinda raged in chat, then two ice popped into my inventory (pretty sure they did that to shut me up)

 

Oh boy...Skyblock.net was actually my first Minecraft server. I remember my friend introducing me to the PC version (I had played Xbox for months prior) and we wanted a way to play together. So he went and found Skyblock.net. This was August 11, 2012. Call me old

We got the basic idea of Skyblock, and we did alright for two noobs. I remember thinking that jungle saplings and wood were super rare because you know, what are the chances a jungle tree would spawn on an island :L

But anyway, that's what sticks out in my head most. I was about to talk about my entire Skyblock story, but that's not what this thread is for Thanks for listening to me ramble

 

Uhm, for the first month of playing on org, I assumed you had to be on the same island as someone else to talk to them. >.> Eventually I figured out the whole local/global thing. I popped up in chat and I remember people being like "Who are you?" a lot, cause I just kind of showed up, already knowing the ropes and jumped into chat. Plus I wasn't working yet then, and I wasn't sleeping much, so I was online a lot. XD

I remember on that island my goal was to build out my island as far as I could so I had a giant slab of floating cobble, 99 x 99. And mods used to randomly show up and stalk me, and when they tp'd it always made me jump. XD Luckily I'm pretty used to bodies just appearing inside of mine in game now. lol

 

I didn't find out about global chat until grace told me about it on Hellblock lol

 

Oh. I used to have a villager spawner in the middle of my island, it spawned around-200 I guess? Villagers. So couple of Mods came and reduced them to around 20. They left a sign, that said: 'Please don't over breed. -Mods.'
I thought Mods were such rare creatures, that I framed the sign with glass panes and kept it there until I lost my island.

 

I remember getting banned on like my first day

 

Oh gawsh, the memories. I joined on August 1st, 2013, so I haven't been around for that long. It almost feels as if only yesterday I was still that same green bean trying to fit in with everyone. c;

The first minecraft server(s) I joined, made one of the largest changes in my life. I remember my first island.. didn't last long.. xD After a month or so I still hadn't gotten to know any of the community. ( Being the shy person I am, I was too scared to even ask questions. ;-; ) One of my most memorable moments in skyblock was with DarkAngel_19. She was building snowmen for people and I asked for one, but it kept dying. ;-; Not long after that, I met one o my first friends, crispypwncakes. We were both bored, so he asked for some farming items and made hude towers going to max build height. It was funny, but I couldn't remove it without dying over and over again ;-; Blah blah, [insert boring details here], then I met Sir_Tannenbaum. :3
Maybe a month later.. Someone decided to upgrade me to $10, I was so happy Next day I upgraded to $25 ._. So about 3 months into skyblock, I had finally started making more friends and got to know the community better. *skips boring stuff* Tannen upgraded me to $50 as a present, and I was overwhelmed. x.x Early January, I decided to give teamspeak a go. One of the best choices, ever. (Especially when I was able to listen to Darkeh's beautiful singing.) Every single memory that was made, is something I'll never be able to let go of. I've met so many people there, and I would have never been the same person I am today. I am truly grateful towards every single one of you, making this time I have been here the most amazing. Remembering all of this from the very beginning to now, makes me smile.

Just want to mention a few people because why not. c: ( In no particular order. And I'm sorry if I don't mention you, it's late and I'm tired. ;-; )
Pinkydrew3 - I remember when we first met. I messaged you by accident. Now, no matter what the case we're always here for each other.
Shiningnova06 - SAO. You're an amazing person to be around. Always looking to the positive side of things, and fangirling making the most of those moments on teamspeak.
mindsensation - I still remember when we were on teamspeak with Tannen & Pinky. Poor baby chickens. xD That was the best.

I've been around a while... My first memory was thinking how bad/small the spawn was. It was a tiny little floating thing. I was not impressed! (This was a very long time ago now )

 

i remember somebody with a scary deep voice hanging out with laura, that sudo'd me and made me look funny

And, my first memory of Skyblock was griefing my friend's island! T'was great.

 

I don't remember much but I think I joined June-July 2013, and then was inactive for the rest of 2013. The oldest memory was probably when several people duped diamonds and they had to rollback the server. I was old enough to see the old /warp animal(s) ? where you had to go inside the animals to find them. And the old /warp mob, where you also had nether mobs and such.

 

Yup it did cost a bit tho i got rich pretty fast

 

I remeber joining and there was a island that had a huge " Toy " On it. I log on the next day and its gone xD

 

All I remember is regrettably missing Halloween 2012, I have not idea when I joined, tagging old account 'cause why not. robbybigc93

 

Back when I was a boy- I mean back when I was non donor, I won a double chest of cookies because I answered a question correctly..
It was like Christmas.

 

I remember trading YYY my only Iron Ingot for an Ender Pearl.
Kaylee flooding noobspawn with creepers.
Mage49 accidentally resetting his island.
When 100donors could spawn all mobs, enderman everywhere at all warps until it ended.
Noobcrew accidentally did /tpall at noobspawn.
Noobcrew wanted to test the permission for donors to keep XP, so he asked if he could /kill me, and I ended up dying that day.
AdvrageGaming's incident that led to his demotion.
Noobcrew spawning giants, sheep, pigmen, all riding each other on our island.

No particular order, just a bunch of old stuff. The first would be when me and JO_Mamaa had an island and I lost the watermelon, we made it a mission to get another, so we ended up bridging for a melon. Eventually we reset the island (And on accident) so it was sort of a waste.

 

I remember selling YYY a book that he wrote in exchange for a few god enchants. In retrospect, I should have kept the book.

ALSO my join date was June 28, 2012. Tomorrow will be my 2-year anniversary of Skyblock
