This is probably the funnest thing I will ever write I think. And yes if this thread isnt useful then... well Im out I get told how my posts a good and things along that line. Others may not agree but this I think i can possibly share some helpful hints. Im going to make this short and straight to the point. Relevance: You need to ensure the topic you want to post about is relevant to people or the majority. As well as that, making sure there is a demand for the topic, or you have observed a trend happening. Meaning that posting a help guide about starting a skyblock would not benefit the majority. This brings me to my next tip Research: Avoid posting content that has already been posted before. The content that is the best is threads that are unlike the others. Its ok to put a twist on old threads, but making something new on the same topic as an old thread isnt really all that useful. Length: Im guilty of writing long threads but thats just me. Of course people wont want to read 1000 word essay on a topic. Make the length of the initial post as short as possible. That way you can discuss in more detail when people start discussing. Topic: Best to chose your topic carefully. Creating a controversial thread addressing a sensitive issue may cause arguments and a lot of negative ratings. Make the initial post as unbiased as possible if addressing a seemingly sensitive issue and dont add opinion unless its necessary. In most cases its best to avoid writing about controversial topics. Format: Basic tips here. Dont use all caps, check spelling and grammar (Im too lazy but it helps to ), dont over use colour, dont use too big fonts, and re read and make sure sentences make sense. Well those were some things that might help. peace krissy
Im seeing a lot of doubled up help guides (recent ones too) and posts that are meant to be helpful but not well written... I thought this would be relevant, if it isnt well it was fun to write
Pfft. All my threads are crazy long. XD That little voice that people have in their head that says "Stop typing now", yeah... I don't have one of those.
There is that option... or how I think Justin Bieber got all of his YouTube subscribers - pay people to make 800,000 Skyblock Forums accounts and make them all rate you as winner...
Yes but some people get a little confused, they want to write but they are unsure how to put thoughts to words. It's not always that simple. But we are constantly using our brains anyway. Some people need help to be inspired
I made a thread a couple months ago that goes against just about everything you said here, and you were posting in it a lot. It seems as though you made this because of that thread... (Probs wrong )
