I think we should have a wall of shame which you can travel to by doing /warp wallofshame. It will be a wall where it will have their name, banning mod and reason for banning. It must also be updated every day by all mods.

It would take over 4000 signs. Not going to happen.

It's going to take a lot of signs and possibly humiliate the player, no support.

I fully disagree with you. If this was a small server then I would agree but it isn't. This server is way to big for a wall of shame. It's a nice idea though.

Besides, why call it wall of shame? What if I requested to be banned, would I be put in the wall of shame?

I don't see the point, and it sounds a bit humiliating, because look, you wouldn't like it if you was the person that was on the wall would you?

Thats the whole point, if people break the rules they get humiliated. It in my opinion lower rule-brakers in the community.

It's not nice to be humiliated even if you've done somethin' wrong, we're all equal here, skyblock is a friendly community, not a community where we hurt others feelings.

What Im trying to say is maybe people will try to resist the temptation to grief or scamming when this could be a punishment.

Mods keep track of their own bans.
No reason for you to know who they ban for whatever reason.

I'm not trying to sound mean but this idea just could not work. There are too many bans per day. Bans are necessary, but we do try to support people who get in trouble as we all make mistakes. Do you really think Mods want to take the time to put up a sign every time they ban someone? That would take away time from important things mods need to be doing for this server. Also, imagine if you were banned. This could seriously hurt some feelings and take away love and support for the server from people. So pretty much, this is too time-consuming, and humiliating. Banning is enough punishment for doing wrong if you really love the server. People don't need their reputation ruined as well.

No support, even thought they might deserve to be punished, it would be publicly humiliating to have your name on a 'wall of SHAME' I also think that if they break a rule, the mod has to do /warp wallofshame and then put a sign up etc when I don't even think they can edit those type of things. Also if someone gets unbanned they have to go take the sign off. It is extremely annoying work for the mods and would also be bullying.

No support. Every ban is slightly different, and for some players, that would help make them not do it again, but for others it would make them mad and do something even worse. It also is completely unrealistic. There are a lot of bans per day. I would make a guess at over 15. (I really don't know, but this sounds about right based on the number of ban appeals.) That would mean that the warp would have to change drastically every day, and it would grow very rapidly. Also Cyp and Crew are the only ones who have permission to edit warps. This would be a horrible waste of time on their parts because it is completely unnecessary. Bans aren't the public's business. We're lucky that we can read the ban appeals. It really doesn't concern us. It is between the banned and the banning moderator, which is why they are the only ones allowed to post besides witnesses. Absolutely no support. It's a completely unnecessary, annoying, and huge waste of time.
