Server name (.net / .org ): .Net In-game name: StrawHatPiratess Full exact Ban Message: Appeal @ skyblock.net Moopuff 14-06 Did you read the rules ? Yes Why do YOU think you were banned? Well it is in the title. Threatening To Grief Was this an incorrect ban? A little bit of both Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Yes. Message me for more detail Why do you think you should be unbanned? I should be banned because I didn't say anything about griefing him and I said that I will stay here for a while and if he does have proof since I might forgot if I did say anything about griefing him then I will tell you what I think about it. And when I say selling Fire block, he always whispers me saying I will buy it for 300 diamonds or so then when I teleport to him, he says stuff like nevermind and stuff because I didn't want to show him it so I just stayed there since I am bored and he has been doing that like 5 times. Gets really annoying when he waste my time like that.
Oh. I admit that I said that but it was a joke because I didn't have a diamond pickaxe with me or in my enderchest so there was no way of me griefing him+ there wasn't even anything valuable to grief and even if there were like 20 diamond blocks or something, I still wouldn't grief because I am a long time player and I know the result after griefing someone and the reason I threaten him since he was so annoying to me saying that ''I will buy your fire block'' then after saying ''nevermind'' so it would be fun to scare him a bit.
Why did you want to intimidate a player? Some can see that as abusing your rank because you are using it to be little people. Why did you think it was okay to do so?
I intimidated this player because he annoyed me in the past therefore I joked around with him by scaring him and I do admit that i abused my rank because I think you teleported me to spawn and then I did /back and I thought that it was very funny because he saw me again and he got really scared. I also didn't think it was okay because when you told me to leave, I should of just left and never went back to his island.
If you knew it was not right to abuse your rank why did you do so? I'm afraid 'because I wanted to scare him' isn't really cutting it for me.
Well having /back there and doing nothing with it, I know it will be fun using it on the player's island.
You should unban me because I didn't literally grief his island and did nothing harm to his island but I did say that as a threat which I shouldn't do since other players may be taking it serious. I know its a joke to them but they don't know its a joke so I know what I have done that is wrong.
Another reason why I should be unbanned is that is there a rule saying that threatening or intimidating someone is bannable? If there isn't then I would like to be unbanned. Not like I am going to grief that guys island with cobble stone on it. And like I said in that photo that you have, it says that I am going to use my diamond pickaxe all over his island which I didn't have a diamond pickaxe with me or in my enderchest. So if I were to grief him using a fist, I would be an idiot. I read the whole no griefing rule. Says nothing about ''Threatening to grief''. Rule 1: No griefing! Offence Level: High This is the number rule of every single server. Unfamiliar with the term, like spellcheck is? Griefing is the changing of one's property that you have no rights to. Still not get it? Griefing is where you take/place/move blocks that are not your own or you do not have permission to. Why have it illegal? Say you made an epic beacon tower using 3 hundred diamond blocks. If someone steals all that, wouldn't that seem illegal? Griefing can also be considered the gaming term for stealing. Isn't bridging also a rule? It surely is, it is the placing of blocks (usually wood or cobble) in territory you do not own. It is the common way to get to someone's island to grief. What happens if you get caught? You get banned, and there is a pretty low chance of getting unbanned on the second offence, but it is a tiny bit easier on the first offence. Please note, when you grief, "logs" are made, making it so they know what was taken/placed, who did it, and a way to revert it. If griefing is reported close to when it happened, there is a pretty good chance a rollback can be done. Looting also falls in this category, since you are taking/placing blocks in a chest that do not belong to you. Even if there is one piece of cobblestone, you can still get banned, do not take ANYTHING that you have no rights to. Hacking ALSO falls in this category. Why? You are adding/removing stuff that is not your property or have permission to. In this case, the server itself. Hacking it taken more severely because it is not common at all, and most hacks are big. How it can be legal... Ok, sounds strange on how to make it so you can do it. There are a few cases where donors are asked to destroy stuff on people's island for them (ex: /fly). As long as the person has proof of a conversation to do it and only does that they are told to do, it is legal for that one person. You can't bridge or loot period. No way to make it legal. Also, you can bridge to make a boarder for your island. Need to know your boundaries for your island? Just build 49 blocks from your bedrock. Your space can be 99x99 blocks (I wish 100x100), and you have no height/depth limits set by the server, only by Mojang (between Y = 1 and Y = 256)
It's not just threatening to grief. It's about abusing your donor perks. I will unban you in 1 day and if you do this again it will be a permanent ban. Your appeal has been accepted. Locking/Archiving
