I would say their legal, as there are witch spawners in the economy. I wouldent pay over 20 diam but, as its a 1 time use.
Really? You don't see many of them and I would think that people would buy the egg for collecting rares etc. Would be a waste to use it. My thoughts on the value was like 40+
I think things like spawn eggs are too easy to spawn by accident and would be a waste of diamonds. Remember the seller has the power, so whatever they want, you have to decide if you want to pay. So pricing them low is probably the way people will go.

You could be going in through a door to your chest room and right click and the egg spawns. Even the best make mistakes.
However people usually wear fireblocks so they don't usually handle then. It's worth remembering that seller has the power. What you have to decide is what are you willing to pay not what the optimum price is, because that does not matter since it changes a lot
Generally in in-game economics, contrary to real-world economics, the seller has power. However, the seller only has power insomuch as there are more buyers than sellers. In this case, I think the buyers have power since there aren't enough people willing to shell out the seller wants.
I meant the power to chose the price they want for items, which is supposedly the point of that whole of the people are greedy thread. I hate the fact everything has come down to economy rather than fun, and blaming groups of people for the "mess" the economy has become. I literally think its time to forget the "economy" people have made and just play skyblock, pay whatever someone wants, trade for things that you want and who really cares about profiting. you want the item, you want it. whatever. everyone needs to chill out that is all.
