    Actually, I see them as interchangeable. Friends are friends. People I knew in life move away and become internet friends, and people I've met online may come to see me and become people I've met. There's no difference in the people sitting behind the keyboards and the person sitting next to me on the couch. Just a difference in the way we communicate. :p A friend is a friend, no matter how far. Hehe.
