macklemore257 and I are very happy to announce that we have set up a UHC server and will be hosting a UHC event. If you are not sure what it is look up 'Ultra Hardcore' in Youtube. Others have had an interest in this so we have posted this as quickly as we could .

How does Ultra Hardcore work?

There will be 7 teams of 3 who will battle each other out and try to be the last one standing. Regeneration is off and so the only way to regen is via golden apples or health potions. The nether is disabled though so it's just golden apples. There will be a world border which is 4000x4000 shrinking the arena from to 150x150 and so beware! If you touch it you will die.

When will this be held?

We are deciding on a date, most likely a weekend so if you are very busy on weekends don't enter .

How do I enter?

If you are interested in this event you can apply as a team of 3 and individually (if individual we will put you with other random players. You have to be willing to speak using teamspeak/skype and be available for the whole game. They usually last about 2 hours max. You must be able to play using the snapshot 14w21b.

I'd want to do it but I don't know if I'd be able to fit all of the specifications :/

 

You need to be able to play on the snapshot (basically edit your launcher)
You need to have a mic or be able to speak basically.
You need to stay for 2 hours on a Saturday or Sunday.
Thats pretty much it..

 

The server is fully set up.. we just need players now.. :/

Edit. World border starts from the beginning. But you don't spawn within 1000 blocks of it.

Why should you play: Well, I'm bored. So why not do something that'll wake me up a little. This is much harder then 98% of most minecraft things, plugins, etc. So why not? My voice is a little screwed up so I may not be talking 100% of the time.

 

Also, where would spawn's coordinates be?
Just so we know where to go if the border is closing in. I presume 0, 0?

 

If you wanna avoid to border head for 0,0. Where spawn is doesn't matter. You will be scattered around the 4000x4000 area but no closer than 1000 blocks within the border. You can then figure out your strategy.
