I dont know why this was locked/ archived for breaking rules - because it's not. Anyways, I saw I was tagged and decided to read through this wonderful gem. The biggest problem the servers have, in my opinion, are the following. Keep in mind that I have not played on the servers for many months now so things quite possible have either improved or remained the same. Suggestions made by mods and players are mostly ignored. Server maintenance takes way too long to find possible solutions and fixes. Fixes usually lead to bigger problems. Player base is way too young and retarded to be helped with anything. Evidence can be found in the amount of rules that need to be displayed everywhere. Basic server architecture is old and at this point, the only way to have an efficient and good system is to use an entirely new map with new and better plugins. Server admins do not engage with mods and players often which results in large discrepancy between what mods and players want and what admins believe player want/ need (think of cost/ benefit ratio). Permissions get changed so often with little warning, it's ridiculous. Server owner distrusts his own mods to hold permissions for many things. This leads to inefficiency in server in-game maintenance and management. Since the owner and his admin cannot do everything and manage everything, no new updates are ever released. The server consists of the same exact literal s*** every single f***ing day of the entire year. No big and consistent (weekly) server-wide events, no community based events, no advertising, no nothing. You join the server, grab all your kits, shove some more s*** in my chests, build your island, and leave. Finish building your island? Go make a new one and do the same exact thing over again because there's nothing else for you to do. Repeat until you grow tired and get bored and leave. I would make some time in my busy schedule to get on the servers daily if there was more the server offered. So before hiring new mods, big changes need to be made with upper management first and all their policies/ goals.
The biggest problem of all that you forgot to mention is that none of these will (most likely) ever be fixed.
Its about time someone who knows what they're talking about has actually agreed with the public instead of just locking it because they don't agree.
There are inactive mods, so what? There are also mods that are active, and it isn't exactly easy to find mids for every timezone in the world.
NoobKilla basically just said what MOB_SLAYER_101 and I were trying to get across to you guys. MOB may not have said it in a way that you guys could take a view point from but it definitely was there. The Admins not trying to be rude but have the server the way they like it and make no exceptions. If we say suggest a /warp pvp the admins almost instantly say no because they don't think it will work out. The problem with that is that they aren't thinking about it the way that the player might be thinking about. So what if a suggestion stuffs up it's not like it was the admins fault. It would be the players and then they might think, "hey that might not have been a great idea" and it gets removed, no damage done. What I'm trying to say is that the admins should listen more to the community because without us Cyp, Crew and anyone else who helped make this server would be wasting their time and would gain nothing. They would gain no money or pleasure doing this job. PS. Don't abuse ratings and rate everything MOB has posted as rude because you really have no clue what your talking about. just_trollin <-- I'm talking about you Noobcrew CypriotMerks
You honestly have to be joking that you spent all that time arguing with MOB and saying how stupid his opinion is but when big, scary S-Mod comes and says it you automatically agree with. To me that makes you a coward. :/
And i am saying what noobkilla is saying I may of just worded it wrong. The mods may be more active then what i thought but it dose not seem like it cause they are not like they used to be. I have been here a long time and some mods are no longer ASSSS friendly as what they were
PvP is one thing. It wasn't the most pleasent of experiences when it came to reports for moderators. It was a horror show. That one is shot down because many players know the faults that came to it. I understand that was a comparison, but pointing out one thing. I do agree with the points. Things could be added if they seem like they can do little harm. If a bug that is somewhat endangering is discovered, it'll be removed.
