Huehue I am korean and I used live in korea (Now australia)
I was lucky enough to watch the pokemon card tournament live as well as get myself a gameboy advanced and pokemon emerald in the japanese version

I now know some conversational Japanese, but even without speaking it I still managed to navigate Japan successfully hahaha
