I recently read this thread, and it makes a very good point. It was just posted with hate in mind.

I'd love to hear your opinion on how active the staff team is! Of course just because you have never seen them doesn't mean they're inactive, this also applies to the forums, because it's mandatory for a Moderator to be active on the forums. But please do post about how you feel about the activity on each mod!

Before I hit submit, I'm going to clear up a few things.
-Posts must be constructive! "X is a terrible mod" isn't constructive. If you're not sure what constructive criticism is, see here.

-Don't White Knight, I mean it.. you have no reason to quote another members response and correct it, everyone can have their own opinion.

-Anything off-topic will be removed and you'll be infracted. (no pictures, no one word replies, etc.)

Have fun guys, and keep the thread on-topic, your opinion matters. :)

I think that Hellblock moderators are very inactive, I barely see any, ever, and they are always busy with other things, I think there should be more. I don't go on .org much. (sorry guys.) but there is always a mod on .net.

NZ/AUS are very similar times anyway. I think in general I see mods come on and be active. I mean on the weekend, there are many mods on being active, and then we have that time where the activity slows and there are at most 2 mods on at a time. That is probably a time zone issue, where majority of the team is american and European or on similar times, and the mods that cover Asia and Australia times are quite inactive. (Net)

I notice the org mods times zones are more even thus I think the activity is slightly better than net. Hellblock, at times, could do with more active mods.

But even if a mod isnt active in game, the come on the forums and do things to help. It is always good to see, and im mostly happy with the activity :)

I only want to help :)

    .NET

-There are quite a few mods, but... I often witness times of no mods being on and Skygods having to help out(best they/we can).
-I HAVE seen some mods who are not as active as they said they would be(or even close, for that matter).
-I have also seen mods that are more active then they even first said they would be.
-I definitely think that .NET needs more European/Asian moderators who can pick up the slack that the Australian mods are packed with when america is asleep ^_^
-I know the .NET mods are trying their best, but maybe we need to try and get some more European/Asian mods who can help out :)
    -Honorable mentions from .NET:
-krissy_punk - Extremely active and very helpful.
-Pyonas - Always busy and still finding time to chat with us
-Mindsensation - Active... annoying, but active(jk, ily bebe )
-LimeCoconutShake - Very active and helpful.
-Barnaby - Active(but needs to be more .3.)
    -RobloxianRoblox - Active and helpful.
-Demon_Angel - Extremely active and very helpful and friendly. Go NZ bae .3.
    .ORG

-There is usually a mod on all the time, until around 12 a.m.(EST) I've noticed. then none get on for around 4-5 hours(probably no Euro/Asian mods, again.. just like .NET).
-But, yah... throughout the American-day there is usually at least one mod online who is helping (=
-.ORG needs a better host/plan or something to reduce lag because of all the gens ^_^ but, besides that.. it's run rather well.
    -A few honorable mentions:
-AmazingGraceGirl(AKA: Gracie) - Extremely active and very helpful. Almost never misses the chat( )
-Keeper_Of_Flame(AKA: MadamKeeper) - Very awesome and very helpful. She's new to moderating, but is catching on extremely fast, and is shaping up to be one of the best mods I've seen.
-Larrythebird101(AKA: Larry) - Helpful, knows what's going on, probably one of the most knowledgeable mods on .ORG, and very kind.
    -pc1008831 - Very active.
-McBird - Very helpful and very active.

    Hellblock:

-I do not play Hellblock very much, but it seems to be just fine.
NarcissaMalfoy/Salamander90 keep up the good work

I would also like to add that; I am highly impressed with each and every one of the mods, who, even at times when I doubt their abilities, always seem to figure out a solution. This has made gain a very high respect for the mods, especially the younger teens/pre-teens who continue to surpass my expectations with their maturity and knowledge in handling bans and such.

    LONG-story-short, you guys rock

On hellblock there are 5 mods (Excluding the ones that moderate on other servers). Well, only three of them are really active. That's why I think Hellblock needs more mods.

In my personal opinion I see all of the staff on .net trying their best to maintain the masses as there is. This is a pretty impossible task at times especially when there is only one mod on throughout the day, during my night plenty come on and this helps maintain the masses.
On .net however, people who are only looking for a simple response that gets respond by a minute greenbean myself, would still be asking if the mod or staff member that is on hasn't responded! I try my best to support the server during these times but new members need to realize staff can make the world spin around them!
I will back the staff 100% because I know what it is like to be dealing with 1000's of server problems at once.

On .org however (I have only been on for about 2 days) They are much more active I feel, this could be due to a smaller community?

I feel there should be some more .net staff to supply the needs of the masses

~None of this was ment to be hateful  ~

    For .net

With all do respect the activity of moderators in the Australasian region has room for improvement. I feel that krissy_punk is holding this region of the team together. There are quite a few tmods on regularly yes but they can only help to an extent. There seems to be an odd pattern that only applies for a few mods but when a tmod gets promoted, they seem to become less active. I've only noticed this for a few but it makes no sense. The team that comes online when im on is pretty satisfactory but smods really need to pick up their game. It was a wise choice giving Taylor1211 smod but I think two would be even better. I recommend kuraiibu but thats irrelevant. I'm not sure about the american team but I can safely say that overall the AEST and NZ team are doing a good job. :)

Thanks... Considering I'm on awst time for Australia that is the time that's largely lacking mods. Of course yes the activity of most mods are quite good.

Well here is my point of view.
If cyp has not demoted you, you are probaly ok

I mean that in a serious way. Because I think we all know how strict cyp can be with the moderators BUT THAT IS GOOD so we can have mods that are active and stuff like that.

And for some of the admins (I don't know this but moderators probaly do) they aren't on because they are doing all of the behind the scene work and such.

Overall I believe our staff team is one of the best, I mean why does this server run? Because of the staff keeping it running. I very glad to see that you help us out as a VOLUNTEER who often times gets hated on instead of praised I mean why hate on someone that just refunded you? Just because they didn't give you there soul when they refunded you does not mean you just go and hate on them.

I should probaly just leave this thread alone because promise me I will get into arguments anpbout this stuff but it is just my opinion. Mods please feel free to edit my post to anything that you would like

What I am really bugged about is people that haven't been on for half a year, but they are usually s-mods which is like a shield from demotion. Don't abuse the ratings system, I'm voicing my opinion.

In the beginning, when I first started Moderating, I was usually the only Moderator on. & being a t-mod is tough when you can't temp ban, break lockettes, and aren't even supposed to have refund spawners because those are the main things people want done. But, I made it through and in a months times, I became a full Moderator. After I became full Moderator, I was able to do all the things I can. I now keep a stock of skyblock.net rule books on me so I can hand them out to new players so they know the rules. & when I ban someone, and I know they didn't have a rule book, I put a rulebook in their chests somewhere on their island so if they do get un banned, they will know the rules. Digressing from the topic, sound like me.

Okay, most of the Moderators I ever see on anymore. (ACTIVE)

The T-Mods: (ALL T-MODS ARE ACTIVE)-This is for fun because the t-mods are like freshies/freshmen in highschool
If you see Mindsensation on, you better see LimeCoconutShake. They usually get on together to Moderate. (It's quite cute.)
If you see Demon_Angel on, then you better smile in her presence. :p
If you see, Barn on, tell him he's a good Moderator. (Please, he likes compliments. ;P )
If you see Roblox on, say HI ROBLOX I LOVE YOU! -Kurai hehehehe
If you see Ender on, just ask so many random questions. xD

    The Full Mods:
Artie/Artificiality- I have nothing to say really, he is active and most players know him due to his famous chats in global chat. xD He just came back and if you have not seen him then your poop out of luck.
Snoopy117/Snoopy- She's became less active (probably because of irl troubles) but nonetheless she is an amazing Mod and does her best.
Ipod/Ipodcourt- She is bright and funny. We did have some troubles when she had first became full Mod but we settled them and moved past our differences. This shows that the staff team can always find a way.
Krissy- One of the few Mods that really has a tender heart. She is afraid to speak out or do things that may help the community. I wish she would do what her heart tells her to. Love you Krissy  Stay strong girl
(Um, I may have forgotten one. xD So sorry)

    S-Mods:
Andrew- He has become more active lately for some reason but I approve. <#
Gwism- Same thing as Andrew but Gwism used to get on a bit more than Andrew. Gwism, you know you love me.
Taylor- She's always been my gurl. :3 When she got s-mod, we screamed together(not really, more like me xD) but yes, she is very Active.
Pyonas- My love is strong within her. That is all I must say.(JAPAN4LIEF)
NiH- Sometimes he gets on early in the mornings and I may catch him. :3
Kato- He just got his computer back and fixed so now he is more active then ever! :D (KATO4ADMIN)

But, this is only for .net since I don't play many of the other servers to know what's going on in their community but that doesn't mean I don't know any of their staff. :3 Teamspeak is very useful.

    ORG
On weekdays, when I get home from school, I don't see anyone else moderate the server.
However, later in the evening, there are usually about 2-3 moderators on .org.
I'm in central Europe, by the way.
