Before going right into the section of my moderator application, I'll start with an introduction. Truthfully, there are people in this community I cannot stand, and there are others I cannot live without. Throughout my experiences in Skyblock though, one thing has been clearly unique about it. I've been through countless servers, joined multiple communities, but none was nearly as close-knit as this one. The dedication of the moderators and devotion to their work has changed even me, and I'm a very stubborn person. It never ceases to amaze me what a simple game is capable of. Each time I see the staff team manage problems, I think to myself... I want to be part of that. Many of you know be as a joker, semi-immature boy that doesn't seem very responsible. You all are right to a point, yet I feel like I have progressed through life and virtual reality enough to see how to communicate well with other individuals, whether face-to-face or through typing. Of course, I still have many things to work on, such as patience. I also have good qualities, such as affection for the noobs that spam up chat. They remind me of back a year and a half ago, when I griefed my friend's house. But you didn't hear that from me. Since then, I've matured and have developed traits that would definitely help me as a moderator (whether I get the rank or not). I like converse with anyone, no matter what rank they are. Anyways, to the application. IGN: My in-game name is LeePieGuy. Age: I'm 14 and a half, although I'm sure no one will judge me based off of age. Timezone: US Central Country: United States of America What languages do you speak? I speak English and Chinese. I also know Latin, but it's a dead language. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) I believe I've been banned on Org once for AFK'ing at a pumpkin gen. I should've read the rules and listened to the warnings from other staff members. Twice at pumpkin farm, although the second one was a "misunderstanding" type thing. Why do you think you should be a mod: I know I wouldn't be the "first-pick" for Mod, or even second or third for that matter. There are obviously people more qualified than me. But I would still like the chance, no matter how small, to apply for moderator on a server I enjoy far more than others. I'd like to contribute to the first server I've ever joined, and the server I spend the most time on. What qualifications do you have? I am proficient in English, and my grammar is on the better side. I'm going to be honest, I may not be the brightest bulb in the world, but I still can understand situations well, and can deal with it. I am also the co-owner of a server that I've administrated for 5 and a half months now, but I'm sure I can make time for both servers for the duration of Summer. I am very polite, unless the offender is very rude to others, which I cannot stand. I'm not abusive at all, and I don't curse or swear. Even though I like to joke, I'm very serious in subjects of significance. I am very good at understanding things, as I have 4 siblings that require care and work. I am very good at handling problems. You can ask Super for proof. He's seen me "in-action" on my own server. Literally, anyone could talk to me. I'm very open for chat. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I waited until the Summer to make this application, because I know activeness would be a crucial part of being a moderator. I'll be on much more and be much more involved in Skyblock. I'd say I could drop 3-4 hours a day (non-consecutive) before and after PSAT training. Update: I can do about 3 hours a day before cross country practice. I'm too tired to do anything after cross country, sorry. How long have you been playing skyblock.org? I've been playing for a year and a half now, as previously stated. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I've only been a moderator twice, one on a faction server, and the other opportunity on here. I was demoted on here, and I've learned from my mistakes, even though my demotion was not based off of what I did on Org. Extra: I'd like to thank you all on the support I've had on my last application, even though it resulted in a disappointing manner. I don't blame anyone, as I know I deserved that demote. Even so, I'm very glad that people actually think I can do a good job on moderating a server, because it boosted my morale. Also, for those of you who don't know me very well, I'm really just a guy who has experienced some pretty bad things in life, and resorted to reading books and playing Minecraft to try to ignore those bad things in my conscience. I fully intend to try to help, and I honestly am not doing this for the rank, or whatever. This is what I feel like I can do best at.
75% support. Rarely do I see you help others, and make it more eye catching. Then you will receive my 100%.
I usually /msg them to help. I don't say it in public chat, because I feel like a lot of people do that to show off. I do appreciate the support, even if it's not 100% though.
Thanks Sorry for the late reply, I thought about giving this app a second chance... maybe I'll get lucky!
