Can you private trap doors if so how?

 

yes, you just place a sign next to it. or ma-by it is on it, just fiddle a bit and it will work.

 

I do believe it is possible to 'private' or 'lock' trapdoors. In order to perform this action, place a lockette on the block next to the trapdoor by typing in '[Private]' like usual. You will then automatically have your trapdoor locked or on private.
