I'm not as fluent speaking in Filipino and Spanish, I am almost as fluent speaking in English. I also have been trying to learn Japanese and Italian at school and taking tutor. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) No I have not. Being banned on a server means you broke the rules. I do not break the rules of the server. I simply enjoy with the rules that has been given. If I do not like the rules on the server, I do not play on the server. Why do you think you should be a mod? I can genuinely say that I admire what Skyblock has done, they came together not just as a simple Minecraft server, but as a complete community on its own, most come to this community with good intentions, like I have, others come in and try to cause mischief, anger, and chaos which can easily ruin the playing experience of other players. I want nothing more than to help, whether it be kicking a spammer, or getting a repeat hacker banned. My presence would benefit the prevention of rule-breaking players and would keep the server a fun, sociable place. I will not only help on kicking or banning people, but also give some ideas if ever needed and help out answer questions, 1 more Mod is 1 less question to receive. What qualifications do you have? There is no doubt in my mind that I have adequately performed at the standards that other staff members do. I have very good knowledge of the server because I have been playing on this server for quite a long time now. I am very easy to talk to and I am fairly quick at typing so talking to more than one person at a time is not a problem. Also I feel that I can help people with whatever they need because I once needed help and everyone really helped me, so now I plan on doing the same. If I was to become a mod I wouldn't just patrol the server I would also engage and interact with the players and make sure that everything is going well and that no one is having problems as I want players to stay on the server as long as possible and to make the server grow. I check the forums regularly to see what is happening. This is a very unique server that the owner has created and I have a lot of respect for him, his team, and his staff. If there was anything I needed to learn while on the server, such as a new plugin, or a drastic change to the servers, I would endeavour to learn it as soon as possible. As a Moderator I would never misuse or abuse my power. How would you punish players for breaking the rules? I would warn them (that's what most of you probably do.) If a player is using hacks, it's either I would tell them to turn it off or ban them, it also depends on how long they've had it for. I punish players in different ways of how the player breaks the rules. These are the things I would do. Any Hack: first offense - 7 days, second offense - perm-ban. Inexcessive Spamming (under 5 messages): warning, kick, 1 day ban, 7 days, perm-ban. Excessive Spamming (over 5 messages): mute for 5 mins, kick, 1 day ban, perm-ban. If I see a spammer it’s a mute for 5 minutes. If he/she does this childish action again, I would kick. Now, if this player wants to take it to the last level it's an immediate 1 day ban or a perm-ban. Spamming in all caps: 1 day ban, perm-ban. Caps: warning, kick, 1 day ban, perm-ban. Light Swearing: warning, kick, 1 day ban, 7 days, perm-ban. Bad Swearing (or swearing in all caps): kick, 1 day ban, 7 days ban, perm-ban. Abusing Glitches: Kick, 1 day ban, 7 days ban, perm-ban. “Raging”: Raging is understandable. It's something that a person always does. When a guy/girl goes "WOW UR A @!#$ !@#!" I wouldn't ban them, or perm-ban them. I would just do a temp-mute for the reason of understanding their feelings and ask an admin. I rage once a while but I do not curse or throw stuff. I just simply leave and take a break. If you do not like the ways of how I punish people, please notify me. I will follow the ways of how a MCSG moderator does it. Sexual Abuse: Whenever a player makes sexual comments to another player. Worth a 1 hour ban, second time a 1-2 day ban. Any other offense I will talk to an admin before banning (I will kick the player(s) if needed) How long can you be active on the server everyday? On weekdays and weekends, I can dedicate as much as 4-6 hours on the Skyblock server. If I have nothing to do as far as homework, I may dedicate up to 10 hours. How long have you been playing skyblock.org? From my calculation, I've been playing on the server for almost 5 months. Also been on the forums for 4 months. I choose to play on the server because I've seen a lot of friendly players and every players are ready to help. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I was formerly a moderator on the server Hypixel, which is owned by a well-known adventure map creator, Hypixel. I’ve joined the server April 14, 2013. This is a huge server with hundreds of thousands of players on the forums and in-game. I am very familiar with how to monitor the forums as well as the games. I am skilled when it comes to hackers as well as rule breakers. I know when to warn, kick, temp-ban and ban. I used to use the account liamlio on Minecraft but now I have changed the name. I had to give it to my brother because my parents wouldn’t buy him one so I had to give the account to him and buy myself one. My brother has now taken my place as moderator. Super Craft Brothers: I also used to be a GM (Global Moderator) for SCB. This is another very popular server like Hive but this one is owned by Sethbling. I was a GM for about 1 month; unfortunately I resigned because I was too busy in real life. But since now I’m calm and the things got sorted out. I thought I’d give it a shot for this server. Anything else we should know? - I love to meet new people and make friends. Sometimes I don't get how people say that you shouldn't talk to strangers because they will stay as a stranger if you don't talk to them or make friends. Also talking to people makes me motivated and keeps me going. I'm a nice person who is a hard worker and loves learning new things. I try my best to make time for people who are in need of help, I don't like people who are sad and don't enjoy there time playing minecraft and playing on the server. I play for a basketball team and I am usually the person who gets the best team man award. Things run through my mind each time I get the award saying that I have done well and have respected everyone and have showed them my understanding of their situation (e.g. If they are bad at playing basketball or are new, I understand how hard it is to play, it has happen to me when I first started playing). So I will bring respect to all staff members and will understand the situation that they are in. I would help them out and try to bring happiness to them if they ever need it. I don't like to see other players struggle, I have always believed that a players knowledge should be never be kept to oneself, by sharing information it helps other players from making the same mistakes as you and life easier for individuals. I get a kick out of seeing staff team happy because I have helped them, I like the feeling of looking back at an event and thinking to myself I helped create that, I helped make that happen.
