After a few months of playing skyblock I want to start a new island. Therefore I'd like to have my island in a forest/plains biome, but I've only spawned in ocean biome so far. Is it legal to repeat following procedure: 1. /newisland 2. Join a friends island 3. Leave friends island until I'm in the desired biome, or is this already considered abuse of /newisland? Thanks, MichiHk
I think /newisland tends to spawn you at the same coords every time, though I've heard of people getting different coords sometimes. You might want to check with F3 to see if /newisland is actually bringing you somewhere different. Either way, as creations said, it's fine as long as you don't take anything from your new island to your friend's island or to your next island! That is called island farming and will get you banned.
Yes, I already found a forest biome FYI: /newisland replace just removes your old island and replaces it with the starter island at the same coordinates. If you've been member of a coop, leave it and do /newisland afterwards, you'll spawn at a random position. So the procedure described above works perfectly. Thread can be locked & archieved Thanks
