I remember back a year ago. The community was so much more than it was today. You guys are right. I remember when like.. 16 quartz was about 3 glass at /warp trade. Thats how i currently have 8 stacks of the stuff xD

I feel like it basically fell apart, as I am not into the stuff that people active today somehow care about, such as rares and stacks upon stacks of stuff they never use (Diamonds/Grass just to have in order to say they are "rich," rather than using those items they keep them in a chest).

 

I know. Back a year ago, the community was smaller, but better. You could say that now its quantity instead of quality.

This server made me get minecraft. I always played it on my friends computer and loved it. Everyday he would come over, I stole his laptop to play and have a nice shop, island and make some friends. This server is what got me into minecraft and to this day, it's the only server that truly play on. (Except for mine xD). I have played for a year now, and sure, there are some dull moments where I don't want to play. But, I still always love the server and I come back within a day. Some people think I am addicted, well I guess I am a little. I look foward to waking up in the mornings to hop onto minechat and talk to my Australian friends then hopping on when I get off of school and I am heading to the rescue squad. This is my favorite server and I do not see that ever changing. I love you, Skyblock!

 

Calm down buddy, there's no need to get violent. If he spams you with negative ratings, report him. He will get forum banned. But you saying "I will make your life hell" is unacceptable. Do not do it again.

 

sadly they where a flint and steel for 1 which at the time I didnt have cause u couldnt trade gravel so fireblocks where harder to get than water / lava blocks. Lava blocks later came back to the economy for about 3 weeks so lava blocks should be worth less than water but there not

Lol I remember first starting off, I didn't have enough materials to make an obby gen, so I saved up 5 grass and bought a lava source from a villager. And promptly placed it. This was a looong time ago.

I miss skyblock in the past. I think the server is going downhill. The community was not like what it used to be back then... I miss it a lot.
We should perhaps be more generous, giving and caring This is our part to play in rebuilding the community. We have to take the first step, or else no one else will do.

 

I've played Skyblock for over a year now (I even have the General achievement on this websie) and yeah...changed. A lot.
