I am not sure why this practice is even allowed. Through this, one could sell all sorts of illegal items (and they do, whether consciously or not). Unless your island that you wish to sell has NO dirt or grass on it, or mycelium, or sand, or any chests with illegal loot like buckets, then you are breaking rules. Since it is impractical to have a mod come have a look see every time this type of sale might go down, it should be banned outright.

I think the idea of island trading is an obvious rule-breaker. I have actually seen (Maxi, I think) a moderator tell someone it was not allowed once, but I only saw it once. Island trading continues to go on.

Some mods allow it and some don't. Most say if the island has no items on it that are illegal to trade then it's ok, but I agree on having it banned :p

It's a slippery slope this one. Dirty told me it was legal but other mods told me it wasn't illegal. Lego's in depth rules don't really cover this discussion so it's all debatable. I vote for legal if ALL illegal blocks and items are removed.

What I say is that only the starter islands items can remain on the island. The rest has to go. The exception is grass and mycelium

I believe it should be legal as long as there are not any illegal items on it.

Here is my point of view : When something is illegal like dirt, buckets, sand, bedrock ect. it is not only illegal to trade but also illegal to give, so when even an island without any illegal items on it is illegal to trade (as some people claim) then it is illegal to give too , so imagine how many players should be banned because they left their island and another coop member took over the island, practically its the same thing as selling your island to somebody else... I believe most of us have done this, even moderators and high level donors.

Rule 7: Do not island farm
    Offence Level: High

This rule is rarely to ever broken. What is this rule you may ask? It is you are not aloud to make an island, sell/give away the legal items (see rule 7), then make another island, the repeat the process again and again. Why have it illegal? Well, it is a way for a person to get lots of wood, ice, and lava. No one likes illegitimately obtained items. :p

Another variety of island farming, that's rarely broken is the commerce of islands. This could be new islands you've just simply created to sell, or islands that you have worked hard on and decided you would like to get some items from. Island selling is illegal in all circumstances.

    How it can be legal...
No way to be legal, duh. :p

Its already illegal, read the rules often as they may change.
