Some are too strict. They need to loosen up. Some are very nice and kind.

Well I don't really know much about .org mods so I can't really say anything about this...

Okay, I will admit that some mods might be too strict, but some of them, I think, are too nice and kind, and those mods need to tighten up a bit, if you will.

 

Is this for .net or .org?

 

Well the only mods I really only know that much about are .net mods, but I think this could go to all servers.

 

Hai I think mods should not be more strict as the ones who get banned on .net are the ones who care most about your server apart from all the crew and staff members because they are actually making an effort to stay on your server unlike some people. So if you do decide to become more stricter then the people who actually care for the server most will be not be seen as much anymore and will fade away into different multiplayer servers. If this does happen then most mods wont do that much anymore because everyone would have been permanently banned and isn't it a mods job to unban and ban people.

 

But i do think some mods should loosen up though and the really kind mods should step up a bit

 

In my opinion the mods do a great job. They always judge the appeals fairly, make sure the players are clear on what they did wrong, and continue to reinforce that throughout discussion. Like said before, you can't read emotions through text, but they do a pretty good job at that anyway.

In a few situations, yes, players have had to be re-banned, but the mods can't tell from the appeals, they can only do their best to judge. Worst case scenario they just have to be re-banned.

 

actually the reason why lots of appeals say i should be let back on because i love the server is because of a bunch of younger kids that cant be serius writing something that is supposed to be serius. that is what i think
