I was just thinking about custom villager trading so I came up with an idea. Instead of trading grass you can trade mob drops for certain items! Here's a couple ideas 64 bones + 64 gunpowder = any music disc 2 stacks of rotten flesh = 1 carrot or 1 potato 9 gold ingots = 1 grass block 64 string + 64 spider = 1 cobweb 2 ender eyes = 1 grass block Leave more suggestions below and I'll edit them in!
bones + gunpowder = pointless? 1 music disk is sold at /warp noobspawn for 48 cobblestone. And really pointless because not everyone can craft a jukebox and the price is really expensive.... 2 stacks of rotten flesh for a potato and carrot?... I could just kill a zombie for a carrot or potato. Also, I have a feeling you'd make at least 20 carrots/potatos by the time you get 2 stacks of flesh because potatoes and carrots are zombie mob drops. 9 gold for 1 grass? 6 grass = 1 iron in shop and 1 iron is like 4 gold on an average street price trade. 64 string + 64 spider eyes = 1 cobweb? Too expensive. Cobwebs are useless. Spider spawning is rare even for the /warp mob on .net. Also, 7 string is 1 cobweb at /warp noobspawn on .net 16 ender eyes for 1 grass block? Umm... Really? Enderpearls are head to get themselves. Ender eyes are like 10x harder. You gotta craft ender eyes! Eye of Ender - Minecraft Wiki 1 blaze rod = 2 blaze powder = 1 stick + 32 yellow dye. Which takes bonemeal to get.... Which is very expensive if you want 32 yellow dye. In total... grass to ender eyes? No... Just no. :I
Oh and aditional info about the villager shops already Villager shop: 1 Grass = 2 Enderpearl (not ender eye) and 6 grass = 2 ocelot eggs yet 16 enderpearls = 2 ocelot eggs. See the problem here with your stuff? Not only is you equivalent exchange horrible and too expensive. Some of your items are already in shop in a certain similar way.
yeah it sounds good with different suggestions. a better suggestion is what a mod would decide (a good mod)
