Well, since I'm feeling particularly lovey dovey today, I got to thinking what my favorite thing to do was. And then I realized that I didn't matter what I did as long as I was with my friends, SOoOsoOSoSooOSooo I'm just gonna list off a buncha things I do to make friends

1. Start random conversations with someone! I use this tactic a lot. Some people accept the invitation, some are irritated, but in the end, they'll be your friend. I even had this happen the other day to me *cough* ipodcourt12 *cough* and about a month later, we're good friends and let me tell you, that first conversation was gross. Lemme quote it:

I'd also like to add in here that I met my friend DapperEntity after he created a map and I wanted to help with it. We didn't know each other at the time, but I thought it was cewl, so leading into #2....

2. Try to find something in common with the person. Once you do this, you'll have something to talk about, and if you're like me, you LOVE to talk, so just chat it up about whatever you possibly can. Find out a bunch about them so you can maximize your conversation content. Anything you can fangirl about usually furthers the process a lot. The other day there was a new kid in my social studies class. He didn't like ANYTHING I liked at all. So, for a good 2 weeks we just talked about social studies class. After a while, we started doing #3 (see below).


3. Create memories. Do things together, make inside jokes that just the two of you know, and things of the sorts. It makes you two bond and feel closer connected than before. It also gives you things to talk about and helps you with #1.


4. Find mutual friends. Not only does this help with #1 and #2, but it adds a new person to your little group of friends, which you can then do #3 with. It also helps segue to many more possible conversations.

And that's pretty much everything I got! So whenever you're feeling lonely, just make a new friend! I know it always makes me feel better that someone out there can talk with me without knowing the negatives (unless I want them to, of course).
