Yea don't whine or ask to be a mod. Thats what mod apps are for. If ur so eager in becoming a mod, make an app. Dont whine or cry about it.

Not to be mean, but some of the mods that are on all of the time seem to be a teent bit stubborn. No i don't mean they're not answering i mean like "[Mod]- hey bla bla bla, [other mod]- yea blappity bla bla. [someone needing help]-bla bla bla help help bla bla! [Mods]- (ignoring people who need help) bla bla." this is kinda horrible of a representation but i see it almost everyday :/

 

I kinda do take this hard.
The one Mod you speak of was me.
I was the one who spent my time om the server while everyone else had their brake. (Not trying to sound mean)
But I was alone for such a long time, people left and came and some are like: "Akrill, don't you ever sleep?"
I had everyday filled with requests by players, and questions streaming in and people wanting to chat with me.
Saying that I didn't anything ? I take it kinda hard when you said I wad doing NOTHING and me playing around, doing nothing staff like.
I was alone. One Mod on 255 players. Thanks for taking that into consideration. Really makes my day.
I really appreciate Pyonas for logging in and helping me easen the pressure of me during those days.
But even with her help. I was fully scheduled for apprx. 12h each day.
So yeah, doing nothing is my speciality. Thanks

 

Even if that does happen, it only happens 1% of the time.

There are many things that go on back-end, even about griefs. Even if you feel that nothing is getting done about it. Mods have a lot of work- if you- one person out of the 300 people on the server- have a problem, you will send that problem to the one mod that is on. Now imagine that 200 other people are thinking the same thing. Mods are constantly getting pelted with messages, and can't respond to them all (especially when every person with a question thinks that theirs is the most important and should be answered within seconds).

If you want mods that answer every question without fail within half a second, you don't want real people. We are people too- just like you. Sometimes we can't keep answering all the questions and need to have fun.

Wow i never thought of it like that. But sometimes it kinda does happen. but i can respect that mods need some fun time

 

Mods are normal players. They just get more questions etc. They don't spend 24 hours a day answering questions IN A GAME. They have lives of there own. So if one of them doesn't answer ONE question that doesn't mean they just play around abusing there powers.

 

Nope, I don't take it offensively, because I don't want OP. If you have been staff on a server for as long as I have, then you would realize that being staff kind of ruins the point of the server your playing in, because if you become staff, you can't play anymore, and you have to help the players on the server all the time. If your just a regular player, you can answer other people's questions. And it isn't mandatory.
