Why can't i change my spawner to an iron golem spawner? are they banned or something because i really wanted an iron golem spawner.

Even if they were allowed
1. It takes an admin to do /spawner irongolem and if the spawner was given away it would be item distribution.
2. Any spawner that hasn't been placed and says 'Spawner Iron golem spawner' on it, doesn't work and would just spawn pigs

 

With an iron golem farm you don't need an iron golem spawner... It's complicated...

 

And where do you expect to get the villagers? If you place a 'villager spawner' it spawns pigs. Already placed ones still work, but are rare and how would you get them where you want them.

Iron golem farms (with villagers and doors) won't work because natural mob spawn is disabled.
And yes, villagers could be spawned by mob spawner.

It's disabled for a reason... Don't waste you time trying to ask to an admin ^^
