Since several Hellblock players like my Generator I thought I'd share my design with you. Im always looking for the best way to make something while making redstone wiring smaller and more efficient, and this is it guys hope you enjoy.

This is an advanced gen (because it required pistons) However the design is amazingly simple. I tried to make this a 10 min video, so pause if you need to.

This is my preferred design but if you only had four pistons you can easily convert to a 2 high dual gen, or quite possibly a 4 high.

EDIT* You can ignore the last part of the design with the sticky piston, I did it that way so wires don't cross but you can straight wire the switch with no issues. See the pic below. Now its more simplistic

yeah I dont have much set up in the making video department. I don't do a lot of uploads so I did this one at 480 just to make sure it wouldn't have issues.

Yeah it does require you to have progressed enough to own pistons but once you have it the netherrack is endless. I do have a simple gen in mind that is new player friendly. I think ill try it out when I get off work in 6 hours.

Thank you sooo much for this! I just started on HB, and I made this for a donor. He paid me 1 iron block! I also got to mine all the Netherrack I wanted This really helped me out!

 

Awesome. I built them for a mod and friends so far. All that you need is a maxed out efficiency and unbreaking diamond pickaxe to mine faster. I'm glad everyone so far has been completely satisfied in the design and the output.

 

He was so pleased that after I typed this he offered to let me join his coop

 

Oh I saw this video on You tube but I can't get some materials like the slime to do a sticky piston and I found strange the material you used wool but it works just fine is an awesome work thanks....

He used wool because pickaxes don't break wool as fast as other materials. So if you accidentally go over the wool while mining, you don't destroy it.
