I wasn't questioning that you can't it into the starter items chest. I know for a fact you can.
And you can't drop dirt/sand because the Skyblock plugin won't allow you to. How will you get it so the book specifically isn't dropable?

I don't see why it can't be droppable- a rule book would hardly cause people to island farm, as it wouldn't be valuable.

If someone says "I need no rules!", then drops it and gets banned for like griefing, then they could say "I did not know it was a rule, I could not find the rules"

I didn't think about that. Undroppable is probably best, then.

You forgot the rule book by Computteren ;o
I still have that one too :p

Meh, it doesn't really matter if we sell the same exact book at spawn, right?

Nah, because then they knowingly got rid of the rules, which is their problem and not a valid excuse.

Just put the book in a starter chest so those brand new players can see it right when they open their starter chest. Don't make them pay cobble for it because some people might already break rules before visiting warp grass.

It's just that the book villager would be easier to implement

In life most people cater for the majority. The majority speak English so it will be in English Its worth a try, i mean what harm is it to try and put an item in for enforcing rules... we also shall be enforcing rules for the rule book ;)

That gave me an idea. How about, all the staff that speak another language except for English write a part of the book in their language?

Just don't make them an illegal trade, make it to where they can't be dropped. You can have several rule books by making several copies with a crafting table and a book and quill, so what's the point of making them illegal to trade?
