A New Mob Arena Class (For Non-Donors)

New Mob Arena Kit:

  1. Heavy/Juggernaut: Diamond armor, but with a really weak sword, and some other items.

    40.0%
  2. Scout: Weak sword and a bunch of speed potions.

    20.0%
  3. Summoner: Have spawn eggs that fight for you. (And maybe a weapon or two)

    25.0%
  4. Engineer/Builder: Have some blocks to build a base. (And maybe some other stuff)

    25.0%
  5. Pyro: Sword with Fire Aspect.

    55.0%

    I think its time we should get a 5th (6th for donors) new kit for Mob Arena. Something thats different than everything else. Post in the suggestions what you think the new kit should be. Give it a name and a brief description, and ill eventually send this to a mod.
    (For the poll, if you dont like it, post your own kit in the desc.)

    Why not just a tanker, but that has good armor and it has Slow affect also with good sword?

    Alright from playing on mob arena servers this is a good class. The tank. It should have full diamond armor with a minimally enchanted stone sword, and some strength potions.

    The problem with the class in the poll "Engineer/Builder" is that mob arena protects its regions, and does not regenerate. My ideas though:
    Tank-
    *Full Diamond Armor
    *Stone Sword (enchantments)
    *Food

    Fisherman-
    *Chain Armor
    *Fishing pole with knockback/fire aspect (unnatural enchantments)
    *Cooked fish

    Summoner wouldn't work without outside plugins that allow for befriending mobs. Builder wouldn't work as there is a region set on the arena to prevent building or breaking, and it would only promote camping even more.

    Like Pein said, those two classes unfortunately cannot be added. All the other classes seem great though. Support!

    -Heavy would be too great for campers (Considering they can hardly die)
    -A bunch? New mom arena theme: Everyone just sprints
    -What kind of spawn eggs?
    -Builder: Trap yourself in a tube of cobble and be undieable.
    -Pyro: Then only leather boots, and 2 steak then that would be ok.

    those classes seem fun but they would unbalance the other classes and probably would encourage some cheating bahaviours and unfairness

    Maybe to make engineer UN-invincible, they can force you to only build 1 brick high, and to change rules that allows u to build, just not to destroy/dig.

    Not a good idea in my opinion for building... lag concerns, glitching, making it so they hide inside a hallow column, etc.

    If the plugin works even remotely like the survival games plugin, then you can't build or destroy in the active arena anyway. You have to deactivate the arena to make changes.

    I like "summon". I like the idea of spawning mobs to fight for you, and not dogs, to many games like this with dogs. I am thinking of endermen. They should not be to hard to make passive in the arenas and they can teleport to the enemy and back. Tho they may have to get less attack hit points. And pyro would be easiest, but not fun enough to make a difference. So, Support for summon. No support for pyro. Oh and for summon, the endermen should be able to die to make it even more interesting. Over-all, I like more classes, as long as they are open to everyone. I am a donor.

    The Heavy, Scout, and Pyro are easy to put in... the more epic ones (Summoner and Engineer) are hard to do, if even possible.

    Summoner requires altering the whole plugin in order to be able to make mobs fight each other, and this may arise to even more problems.

    Engineer will promote camping, a problem which is already quite serious in Mob Arena.

    Heavy will kind of make camping even worse, and is a bit too overpowered on the armour side.

    Heavy is kinda a weaker version of the donor's god rank.

    No support, I think it would give NonDonors a bit weird advantage. At least let the donors have some things.
