My name is Pete. My in-game name is CobaltX0 (that's a zero).

I wanted to purchase a donor kit for .org, but I was redirected to shop.skyblock.net and didn't realize it. Same thing happened the second time, I had to manually type the url.

I originally bought a $10 donor pack and fly for .net by mistake. The transaction number for that one is 54638393EW025731W. This is the one I'd like refunded.

I then bought the $25 .org kit since the kits at .org give less. This is the second transaction shown in the image and I'd like to keep that one.

Sorry for the mistake. I'm still new at this.

Edit: I can't figure out how to get the image to display. I can email it if you'd like.

No, you misunderstand. I found the .org shop.

54638393EW025731W -- .net kit I'd like refunded ($10 donor plus fly kit)
7BX41778LN243562B -- .org kit I'd like to keep ($25 donor)

Here's a link to my screen cap.

So... Will you be able to refund the accidental .net purchase?

    I see.

No rudeness intended, but I'd really rather not be discussing my finances with someone I'm not actually doing business with. I would have preferred to use a direct contact method, but the forum is all that is available.

    Sorry about that :(

P.S. Try sending a private message to a mod or an admin or something. Maybe they can help. But also, if I were you, I'd rather keep that kit from .net. You can get God mode in the arena if you are a donor.

The only person who can help you with this problem, is an admin. Mods are not associated with donation issues.

With all due respect, I'd rather not get any more replies from someone who doesn't handle the finances.

I posted the right message in the right place. I'm just trying to wait for the right person. If they don't get back, that's fine. I'll use the email contact for the payee in the paypal invoice. No big deal. I understand this is run small team of MC enthusiasts, and I'm probably not the only customer that screwed up today. I don't mind waiting as the problem is my user error. [edit: this is only in part my error, the .org donation link takes you to the .net shop]

I don't understand why anyone who doesn't handle financial transactions is replying to this thread in the first place. I try to be a very private person, and I'm nervous around people I don't know well. I'm attempting to resolve a minor financial error, and I'd prefer to have the kind of privacy you get at a doctors office.

While I did obscure most of my private information from my screencap, I gave my real name and a paypal transaction number. That's a lot of information that I usually don't share.

Again, Andrew, I mean no disrespect. I'm new to playing MC publicly, but I know what a mod is and I have no desire to offend you. I read CypriotMerks' pinned thread about what I should post if there was a problem, and I assumed that only he or part of his team would reply to this thread. I realized the thread was public and would draw those eager to help, but I posted it here anyway because he said that was easier.

CypriotMerks or one of his team may take as much time as they need getting to me. I made a mistake, not them. I am more than happy to wait in line, I like their work and I like their community.

For those just tuning in, here's the 'problem report' again. [zip, turn head, cough]

    ***************************
    MC name: CobaltX0
Problem: Donated at .net by mistake. Later donated at .org intentionally. Never logged in at .net
Request: Please refund .net donation (I'll probably buy more stuff later anyway)
    Transaction numbers:
54638393EW025731W -- .net kit I'd like refunded ($10 donor plus $20 fly kit)
7BX41778LN243562B -- .org kit I'd like to keep ($25 donor)
    Screen Cap: View image: pprec
    ***************************

Again, thank you guys for seeing that I was having trouble and trying to help, but it's ok. I'm just waiting in line to see the doctor.

CypriotMerks is the one you would need to talk to.

As of 5 minutes ago, the donate link at .org still takes you to the .net shop, so this wasn't entirely my fault.

I'm not trying to be rude, but, we are a community and we are here to look out for eachother. If you don't want help from others, you may not like this community. We all look out for eachother here and help any users in need. I hope you understand that. It says on the forums "No refunds, it is a donation". Merks or Crew may give you the things on the correct server but you will most likely not receive your money back.

This isn't the server or staffs fault. The website here is "Skyblock.net" thus it should bring you to the ".Net" store. Also, on the buycraft site, it says that this is for ".Net" and not for ".Org".

I hope you understand that we mean no harm here. We are here to help newer people. Also, I don't mean to be rude in anyway but I like to address all of these issues. Have a great day sir/ma'am!

No problem. You're bdark, right? I'm CobaltX0. For future reference, I'm male (Pete).

I must disagree though. The donate button on the .org should take you to the .org shop, not the .net shop. My address bar right now says .org, so that's what the donate button should link to. I shouldn't have to manually type the url to get to the correct shop. I imagine I'm not the first person this has happened to, and yes, that is the staff's fault. One solution would be to just merge the two shops and have different tabs for .org and .net-- assuming they can't just correct what is obviously a bad link.

I'm hoping he'll refund me as it was an error, not a donation. Should that not be the case, I'd also be happy with just getting credit toward future .org donations, but as you said that's up to him.

Is there a more expedient method to get in touch with CypriotMerks or NoobCrew?

No both of them are super busy. If this doesn't get solved, I will keep you in mind for when I am doing a upgrade. I have done three so far. I agree there needs to be a [.ORG] button.

CypriotMerks has taken care of my issue and I am a satisfied customer.

Thanks to everyone who helped. The thread can now be closed.

    Thanks again, CypriotMerks!
