This isn't working for me, i've managed to get the private sign on the hopper, but others can still use/loot it, I'm guessing that they cant destroy it though.

is there a way to lockette an enderchest so that anyone can use it but only i can destroy it? i wish to place one in my shop on .net for everyone to use and access yet not be able to steal.

I figured it out! You have to place a fence gate under it, then place a sign and type everything in.

 

Is there a way to remove a lockette? (A guy on my island added a lockette on a chest but he is not longer on the island and i want to remove the chest )

 

Ask a mod to remove it.

 

I saw something about locking spawners...How does one do this?

 

Place a fence gate under the spawner, and place a sign on the spawner saying

[Private]
piminecraft2000

Then, remove the fence gate and you are done!

 

Ok, thank you! I found out you can also just place a sign and write [private] in the top row and it autofills your username.

 

Nope, not with spawners. Only chests unless I'm mistaken. Using the fence gate method you can private ANY block.

 

Um...no offense but it worked for me. Idk how though, if you are correct.
