Hello i was just sort of browsing for a laptop at the moment i will eventually need one for school, but i also want to be able to play the latest games on it. If you have any suggestions that would be nice anything under 2000 is fine and if its over not a big deal i will judge it. I also heard that building laptops is a bit cheaper and you get a better laptop if you do it right, i have never touched the inside of a computer so i don't know if i could watch a tutorial or if i need to get a professional to build one for me. Thanks for the help

If you're getting an Alienware Laptop, make sure you get the extended warranty, as it'll definitely be worth it.

i was looking at buying a computer from ibuypower the Battalion 101 Ultra Thin M1771-2 Laptop looked good i don't know to much about computers is it any good? New Battalion Ultra-thin MS1771 Laptop: iBUYPOWER® Gaming PC
It looks decent on specifications. What kills a gaming laptop is often heating, and I'm not convinced that this problem has really been solved properly anywhere, even on Alienwares/Razors. If you can, visit the store and actually watch the heat of the laptop while playing a game to get the best idea.
