With a bit of work, I think this could work out

 

I support this idea,
Spleef is a great minigame which won't have others complain about lost items since they won't die.


But what concerns me are hackers and they can pretty much try to fly.

And depending on how big the arena is, how much lag it can produce.

Also most of all a limit of players.

 

Im sure there can be a waiting room between each match or have multiple spleefs. e.g.,, /warp spleef1 /warp spleef2 . Just like theres no /jump in mob arena. There can be no /fly. Hackers are hackers. they will always appear and temporarily ruin something and be banned. it is the course of server nature. As for the lag. That could be a problem..

I'll support this because the mob arenas always take too long to complete and we need to go to a place that we can enjoy in the server.

 

I do not support. Sorry. This has been suggested many times in the past before and it just does not contribute to Skyblock. If you were to play Skyblock in single player, spleef wouldn't really be of matter, would it? That's jsut my opinion however, good luck on this thread!

In mob arena you are killing mobs which the drops can be used to complete the Skyblock challenges. Spleef has nothing to do with the challenges.

 

In mob arena, the mobs don't drop anything, you only get rewards when you die or win. For spleef, you could even get the same drops from winning as you mentioned after the game. I don't see how the drops affect your opinion.

 

First, I already said no support, you're just trying to prove me wrong now. Second, if they do not drop items, then it's the rewards in the end that help you on Skyblock. Snow does not help you at all on Skyblock.

 

This has been suggested quite a bit I think I for one support it.

In the meantime most people make their own spleef arenas to play with friends but it would be great to have a good ol' spleef with more people.

I also think it would be a great idea and I agree with you Mob arena is getting quite boring. Also if this was to happen I feel the mods should think about other vanilla mini games?

Why would people camp? If you camp, someone will just break the block underneath you, and you will loose.

 

no i mean if they go to a corner and break the blocks around them then no player can get him/her

 

AFK detector, if you don't move 3 blocks in 10 seconds you lose.

 

I really support this idea, since I seen so many complains about Glitches/Cheaters in the Mob Arena. For an example when you do /ma s you can't leave ma, unless you relog to the server. Some Donors go to God Mode when Mods aren't on the server and play Mob Arena. We can put like a squid as a hat, but I won't tell you about it since I don't think everyone knows this. I am fine with Mob Arena and Spleef, although I think Spleef is better because we can go to /warp mob and kill mobs there. I also seen Noobcrew put Spleef before for like a couple of hours and it was packed with people and he made a warp for it too called /warp spleef.

 

Hm... I think Noobcrew and put pressure plates with command blocks and when the step on it, it disables fly. I remember that from PVP when they did that with the pressure plates. Although, there will always be some cheaters.
