A question about /coop...

    If you accept a /coop, does your island disappear? And if no, if you have the cords, can a mod make it so that island is yours again and you spawn on it? (Curiosity, I am in no /coops.)

    Yes, your island will disappear. If you need to get to someones island, you can ask a mod/donor to tp you, unless you are a donor. Any more questions? Id be glad to help :heart:

    I spoke with SLG a month or so ago about this. He said that when you accept a coop, your old island is not deleted, and if you have fly you can get back to it. I can't answer the second part, but if you're a 250+, you have /sethome and you can set your home there. Alternatively, if you sleep in a bed there, you can use /homes to get back to it even if you're not 250.

    But i'd imagine that after a while if they don't have the ability to "assign" you back to the island, it will eventually be reset for a new player. That's just speculation but I'd assume it won't be there forever without reassigning it to yourself.

    Oh. Last time i saw, if someone sends you a coop invite, it warns you that your island will disappear. In hellblock (im not sure which server you are talking about) it will disappear.

    I am pretty sure it will disappear, but it might not. Like West said, we will have to wait on a mod to confirm

    I can confirm:
    I used my sisters account and mine to do a little test. I tpa to my sisters island, which i build some cobble platforms. Then after a few days i got sick of it, so I decided to tpa to my sister and invite her to my island. This part was cool. I was flying/hovering over my sisters old island. I did /coop invite t----- then she teleported to my spawn on my island like usual. Then, for about 2 minutes i remained at my sisters island and the island remained the same, but then suddenly disappeared and a new person spawned on the island. Short answer? your island is deleted and most likely a new person will spawn on it. No way to get it back. 100% tested.

    It happened straight away from your experience. I know people who have gone back to retrieve stuff and it hadn't reset yet. Just the luck of the draw, i guess.

    Your island will be reset, but the time it takes between you creating a new island and the reset varies. There's a limited number of islands available, and your old island will remain the same until the rotation comes back to that, in which case it'll be cleared for a new player to use. This often takes a while, but there's a chance, as in Krissy's situation, that it will happen within a very short amount of time.

    Also, no, we do not possess the ability to reassign you to an old island.
