KWS (Knights of the White Stallion) As founder of KWS it is my response ability to restore our amazing guild back up to standard and we ( I ) am willing to offer FREE training to 5 lucky people who will have the opportunity to go from Complete noob to a professional KWS used to do this we had stopped two years ago and i believe its high time we did it again. Those who are chosen will be given the IP of our training server for two weeks you will go there and receive training in one area here are some of the choices ---Red stone training ---PvP training ---Design and structure only three of the chosen will be granted entry into KWS the other two will be sent back with their new training to aid this server as much as possible The training server is only temporary not permanent and you are free to come back to skyblock in your own time submit some info about yourself below and i will message those five chosen people Oh and if you are interested please leave info about yourselves down in the comments below thank you
Not this again -.- KatoKillsMyGPA I believe giving someone an ip of another server counts as advertising :c
i've already gone over the rules im also talking to cyp about it so calm down and your not paying much attention to what it says are you?
I read it and it says you will give them the ip. As long as you don't go being rude about it and saying the people have to pm them,it's fine if a mod clarifies it. That includes rating my post dumb.
sorry just really had enough of people mis-understanding what i post the training is to give the server 5 highly trained players it doesn't benefit me at all
If you are interested please put some information down here in the comments so i can decide Thank you
Just a thought, wouldn't you be asking mods to take time (two weeks) away from the server to `train` on yours? Moderators donate their limited time from their own free will, that said I'm sure their time would be better spent doing what they have volunteered to do. Perhaps during the holidays when people have more time.
Before I decide if I should join out not, what will be exactly focusing on and what is the current goal in the group/clan?
Beaver were as you are correct in what you had previously said "my" server isnt a permanent server it is a randomly generated map created for one purpose....to make Mine craft player better at playing mine craft we are more interested in training mods because it can help make the server a lot better then it was before hand and a99Bomb99 Its is a Guild. our goal at the moment is to try and improve relations with Skyblock and i decided to sent a msg the Cypriot asking permission he at the moment is unsure himself. we would train you in the area(s) you choose
and one more thing beaver "if" we were to wait till the holidays to train mods and someone (Super Mod) wanted to do somthing before the holidays (for wat ever reason) but no one on the server knew how to do it where as if we were allowed to train Five people in general he/she would not have to wait and second mods usually are on the server more over the holidays so if we train them now they can put thier new skills to use more often.
You have tried to bring this here before, and have failed. I feel that people don't really want to be part of this "guild" of yours if it is barely staying afloat. Just my opinion though.
While I don't necessarily disagree with your initiative, I don't see where your qualifications are coming from. You do not mention why you are qualified to train people, as anyone is capable of founding a guild on the spot (hell I could found "Fairy princesses of Mordor" right now, no questions asked) and it doesn't particularly make you qualified to share your wisdom. I wish you whatever luck you need to get this off the ground, but I sincerely doubt that any of the staff will be interested in this project, seeing as we are all working on limited time already, and dedicating most of it to Skyblock to improve upon the staff activity there. This was posted in the wrong section, and I'm moving it to general discussion.
umm thanks i think as for why do i think I am qualified to train um because there are hundreds of people out there with no experience which they can get from KWS and also KWS has been up for 4 years whether u have or havent heard of us i dont care the fact is were back and we have alot to offer lol "wisdom" we're just as qualified as anyone i guess maybe more because of the shear amount of members we once had we learnt many building styles and fighting style we are more focused then any other "Guild" in the means of training and we ( i ) only want to help
Don't get me wrong, or take offence, I was not attempting to me crass or demeaning, and I apologise if I came off that way. What I mean is, 2 weeks of training is a lot of time for anyone to dedicate, and - while admittedly I have not heard of KWS, no - I would have to be able to put my trust in the fact that you were able to provide the level of training that you claim to be able to, if I was considering taking that training. Perhaps you should consider linking to some of your work (no advertisements for servers though), or uploading some screenshots of your past work? Even a few analogies of projects would be helpful to those looking over your thread.
Don't worry Artificiality you have not offend me in any way its nice to meet another friendly person on here. when i joined i met a lot of nice people and staff and thought i should at least try and we have had a fair amount of success on others servers without encountering the same difficulty as i have here but i have also been pleased with the amount of support from some people and i will try to get some screen shots KWS started as just a small group of people around 25 of us with one goal..to make playing of online mine craft servers more enjoyable and to have fun while helping and over time we amassed 113 members and learnt so much it would blow noobcrews mind as it almost did my own and when trying to build relations with servers we often offered training in any field we deemed usefull to the server and i see so much potential here
You did say you were looking for mods to train right? well ig you have a look at the reports and ban appeals section you probably would find that there are a lots of appeals to be handled and things, and mods, as it is, are being encouraged to be more active (well encouraged by community members). The program sounds ok, though, but i dont know how many people you will get interested here, unless you are taking non mods
