I think though this would be helpful, it needs to be said that developing apps like that take time and money, and can get very time consuming. That is very hard to do, and takes lots of people to make it look presentable/functioning. If the format works, then just let it be honestly. Though text post is important, most of the users have access to computers so if what they type is that important, they can just post from the website later.
