No support. Giving out free donor just for one day will cause to much hassle and how would it actually work? Like, giving out donor for one day to people who hasn't got donor then removing donor will probably remove everyone donor and it will cause so much problems lol.

 

But what would "free donor day" give, as you propose?
Most of the donor perks (I think that is what you are wanting?) would not balance will, given the nature of skyblock.

Some might, such a letting people try out /jump and /back.
I think everyone would really want to donate at $25 if they understood the real power of those 2 commands, esp. when nether is open!

But you can't "try out" 6 iron, or 10 grass, or 1 pig spawner.
And it would be pointless and confusing to let people try out an orange "donor" tag.

But refine it a bit, no harm in creative suggestions.

That devalues Donor, a lot of abuse would come of that anyway.

STOP SPELLING WORDS WRONG! Also, that would be hard, to add and then to remove thousands of donors from the donor list would be hell for whoever would have to do it.

Donor packages are made to help the server. If you do not want to help the server, that is fine. But don't try to request something like that. This is what I like to call a "leech". You try to get as much as you can for free without paying a dime. If you can't afford a donor package, sorry. There are other ways to gain donor items.

 

It's called being dedicated to the server. If you play enough on it donor items should be easily obtainable via trade.

Instead of a full donor "trial" maybe give people access to /jump and /back for a day. Those were the things that stuck out to me as a potential $25 donor, and I'm definitely glad I went for it. If I had a chance to try those before I had donated, I would have done it in a heart beat.

That shouldn't be too hard, in theory. Since donating sets the donor permission to you, Crew could set up a "trial" permission that let's you use those two commands. Then when "trial" day comes around, apply the trial permission to all users, and then remove it when it's over. It wouldn't screw up any existing donor permissions, and would give users a chance to try them out.

HOWEVER:
The /jump command could be a TERRIBLE idea, as you are basically giving greifers the ability to bridge without, well, bridging.

 

True dat, this really don't work out well however you look at it.

 

I like it the way it is. I understand your idea, but donors pay to support to server and to receive those perks. Giving them away, even for a single day, would make quite a few people upset. Also with the /fly and /jump commands being handed to everyone, tons of grief will be caused. Now maybe if there was certain boundary zone set up where users could test those commands while inside the zone that might be able to work.

 

The bridge makes no difference. Most bans in the last few days had nothing to do with bridges, in fact, most that I have found and banned... and there are tons... I found the bridge after finding the griefer.
