Please have good internet while doing this, and alert any friends playing on it when it gets disconnected, this is not like Skyblock where it is on 24/7!

I have always wanted this, the ability to host a small, maybe like 4 person, server for just my friends to play on. I am in New England and my friend is in the Southwest. We sometimes play on the same world, and I own the world (and I sometimes troll him :t). How do we do this? We use a program called "Evolve". Evolve is a program that allows for people to play together in single player situations. It has the ability for friend lists and chat, making a good supplement for Minecraft. Here is the tutorial:

I'd assume you'd need a beefy computer for this. Running PC based software on a Mac is interesting. I used a program called Wine to do this but it failed all the time. Maybe this Wine is better?

I will also make a tutorial on streaming with Evolve. It works for streaming, text and audio chat, AND a browser. Epic software, need to find a way for you guys to use it on Mac. :>

Hosting a Bukkit server with 20+ plugins, no MC lag. Not port forwarded, so don't ask for IP :>
