Krissy. I think this one was me, and I'm very sorry. I will never ignore anyone on purpose, but if i remember correctly, I was dealing with other greif at the time. If I was talking freely in the chat, it wasn't because I wasn't busy, but because I can focus only on one chat conversation at a time whilst doing something else in game.

Between all the things that moderators get in chat, it does go by a lot faster then it does for you, and because of the way my brain works, if I have a lot of people messaging me, I focus on one (in this case, greif (i think)) and I tune out the others.

I'm sorry that you felt ignored, and I will try to focus on more then one conversation at once.

I was ignored by Snoopy twice. I believe now that it was due to some reason. But at that moment I felt lost. Especially watching at her talks in chat. Please don't consider it as complaint, just a note.

As you wish. But... I wrote a paragraph describing that situation, have read it and have decided not to post... I truly believe that there was a reason as I said before. And I don't want to accuse anyone. I said all I wanted to say, it only causes my own humble opinion about this small episode of her work.

Plot twist, mods that ignore normal players. I ignore everyone. I moderate myself and my island.

I think its most annoying in my GMT timezone. There is always no mods online..

 

Not every mod can be on at the same time as you.
When it's day for you, it may be night over there for them, or the other way round.

 

Exactly why they need more mods in my timezone (which is the reason why i applied so that people then have someone to help them out )

 

Everyone's talking about how they applied and such. xD Okay guys, let's not talk about Moderator Applications here. :3 On my behalf as the new Moderator, I have not quite adjusted to how fast chat goes on the .net server as other Moderators have. I do not wish to ignore players but sometimes I deal with something and focus all my attention to it, I miss "Advertisers" or someone spamming me in messages. (Which happens a lot.) Your message might get lost in chat and all the people whom spam me for not so important reasons. It's not like I don't want to help you, it's just that I miss important details such as your message which just shows that i'm human and i'm not perfect. I think most Moderators feel the same about the situation. Except Dirty apparently. >.> (He's lying!!!) xD
I just hope you come to understand that someday and maybe see from our point of view. As another Moderator had posted here, we see who other Moderators/console bans which clogs up chat even more with spammers and such. We also have to kick many players for language and caps all the time. And when there is only one Moderator on, it is very difficult. But in your situation there were four. There could have been a reasonable explanation on the "ignoring" that occurred. Other Moderators came together to help one another help the players that need help. And trust me, there are a lot. When I am the only Moderator on, I try to put the names in chat and then what number they are before I can help them. It seems to soothe their minds for a bit until they ask if I am done. xD But enough about how I do my job, I just want you to know we are here to help you and keep the server economy healthy. But it's difficult when there are so many players who desire for our help. But thank you for making this because it makes me want to help you guys even harder.

cyrocontrol (Akrill) NEVER listens to me... especially when i tell him to not /vanish so i can message him....

 

Moderators get busy so don't keep begging for help because they can't reply all the time.
