I wanted to make an application in the Application section of the forum for Graphic Designer, but it says that I do not have permission to go there. Why is this? I am wondering if there is something that I did that makes me not elligible to be in that section. I think I would be a good graphic designer, but im not sure what someone has to do to post there.

Could you take a screenshot of what it says when you try to go there? It might be easier for us to identify the problem that is occurring, if you show us.

 

We're not in need of a Graphic Designer at this time. When Crew decides to hold the contest again, the section will be reopened.

That's interesting. I'll bring this up to the Admins for them to contend with.

 

I realize I made a mistake in the image. On the first one it should say "This is when im not logged in." I guess I made a little mistake.

 

Are you trying to post in the Dev Application Section? It may possible inaccessible at the time.

 

I think that I said a couple of times that I was looking for Graphic Designer.

 

You are correct, but you never mentioned where you were trying to post. You stated you were trying to post your web designer app in the "Application section of the forum" Which is devised of three parts. I could assume you meant to say post your Designer app in the Developer Application section of the forum but that's something I don't like to do.


After working in I.T. I learn to ask basic questions where people tend to leave out details (and I don't assume anything), this helps when solving issues as you start with the easy questions and move from there.

 

I've brought this question up to the Admins, Whom are busy at the moment. But As soon as I have an answer, I will let you know.

 

Let me clear up all this info. I tried to post in the Graphic Designer section, no web designer, and no dev application. In the Applications > Graphic Designer section.

I can view the Graphic Designer section when im not logged in, but when I log in it isnt there. And if I log in while viewing the section it says I don't have permission to look there.

 

I see, this is weird because it does not show up for me. So I think what the issue is your able to see a hidden thread perhaps. I could screenshot it for you, but I simply cant seem to see a Graphic Designer section. To be honest I think this has happened to some in the past. Anyways Good Luck.

 

I don't think you are meant to see the graphics designer section as i don't think noobcrew is looking for any at the minute.

 

I believe this is the case, if it is happening with multiple people I'm pretty sure it is safe to say that it is on purpose.
