Did you bother filing a report on the forums, as I have yet to see one.

    1. We moderate to make skyblock a better place, not get items.
    2. We do that
    3. I disagree highly to this one. My reasoning has been stated by others already, so I will not repeat.

    Heres my bit:
I have said a lot on active mods. Only now have I come up will a very suitable response.
Mod is an unpaid job- a volunteer role where everyone can apply. However the people who can do the job gets in. However in real life, to get a job you must be qualified and available. Now many school kids and people who work, or both are not available but qualified, and some who are available are not as qualified. The huge amount of school kids being picked may be due to the fact minecraft is a kids game, and 18 yo and above may grow out of it, and leave, causing effort to chose a new mod. Or maybe older people cant relate to the over 80% of under 18's on this server (guesstimating) But my point being availability and qualifications are what create more successful, long time "employees" or staff.

Therefore i propose that noobcrew looks at hiring older staff members who are mostly highschool graduates with part time irl jobs or no jobs at all, or college students who attend classes but not too regular, limiting school kids becoming mods if theres no qualified older members. Its not bias as such, but until the active mods problems are solved, something has to be done and finding qualified older mods seems to be the best option so far. Either that, or find mods from the main timezones (too many EU and USA mods, not enough AUS/NZ mods and more specifically, where im from, western australia, there are almost always no mods on weekdays.

The point about rewards? well i think getting a reward being a good mod, is Tmods becoming full mod and full mod to global. A reward like a rare item seems a little unfair, unless your talking about mod of the month gets a diamond type thing, then it would become a fun little concept for mods. But potentially mods might become active for the wrong reason, and you know, we cant all be good people, we are humans behind computer screens with freedom to do whatever we want therefore exploiting the system is a threat. Harsh punishment? yes. Just like if in a real life job you stop coming into work (you cant do the job, lazy or whatever the reason) then you get the sack or resign. But mainly be forced to resign because some mods became mod for the power, not for the job, and think they can come back to the server 3 months later for 5 minutes and keep their title than go back to months of inactivity. Rewards wont change anything, just create more issues for noobcrew to deal with, and more complaints.

That seems like a hint to promoting you, because you fall into that category. <_<
Not saying it is, just sounds like it.

It wasnt meant to get a promotion, but i think there are more people than me applying for mod and arent in school. I just think people in my situation are a solution to inactive mods, but i wont get promoted yet anyway

I would be happy just to be a mod and to help who ever needs help and stop crime on the skyblock.net.
Being a moderator means 100% giving and 0% receiving all you need is just knowing your making a differences and making the server a better place to play and have fun mods don't need rewards they should be happy that they get a opportunity to make a difference.

Exactly, when you see people have fun, coming back and new donors you know your job as a mod is worth all the work and effort. Im sure most people who have a mod app want to be part of that

Yeah, im sure that concept cant get abused as much. mod of the month would involve all mods trying every month, which would hopefully stop large periods of inactivity
