    There are many people that ask about items that are illegal to trade.
    My suggestion: put a list of basic illegal trades such as buckets, dirt etc.

    usually when we see a player acting suspicious we tell them whatt their doing is wrong or a player does, but i think this would be a good idea, stop a few bans from happening.

    yh this is also a good idee for .net server , i never see any broadcast news there

    Something pretty easy like adding signs might stop people from asking for illegal trades... if they read it :/

    Maybe add /rules that would list all the illegal trade items. Signs at spawn would work too

    that's the point. Almost no one remember what is written on signs somewhere. If it isn't in chat then it isn't in mind.

    Support. Maybe not as usual broadcasts but as [ClearLag] does. Everyone see those alerts.

    If they dont read signs, they wont read broadcasts. At least if some of them read the signs, then all the info is in the one place. But no harm giving it a go in broadcast

    Probably not, it's quite different to have to go to a location to read a wall of information than having it presented to you every so often.

    Im just thinking that some of the info in the broadcasts could be missed since not every new player want to stare at chat waiting for info to appear. Like many new players dont know obby can be turned to lava even though its broadcast. Some people dont even know where to vote! go figure?

    So what im saying the first point of entry for new players should be a rules spawn, try broadcasts, and maybe the issues will be solved.

    There could probably be some signs at /warp faq because a lot of people go there for contests and other things. Also the [Broadcast] messages could be just a bit bigger and maybe a different color so it's easier to see it.

    most likely new players tend to look at the signs for commands. Im imaging broadcasts like the ten pin bowling center in my town :D I wish broadcasts for new players could pinned to the top of their chat for 3 days :p that would really annoy them and let the rules sink in :p

    I am a non-donor on .net, ive never seen a broastcast altough my sister (Planking_pototo) does.
    I think they should put a list of illegal/trading items at both .net and .org spawns.
